What kind of Elixirs? Like Kombucha? Thank you for this opportunity. I can make all the modifications or variations that you might want to see. I'm here to help even long after the contest is over.
They are herbal beverages that you feel. We serve them as alternatives to drinking alcohol or other synthetics.
I like what you've done with the font Desire in #166, but the X overwrites "Brilliant" in a way that doesn't work. Maybe tone that down a bit? Which are the ones that make the word really pop? I really like the floral arrangements around the circle. Are those all from LHF as well?
We need to make a branding decision as a company (between old/classy like this and old/trustworthy like #159, but your direction speaks well to me.
I wonder if we could meld those two looks together?
Hope you like the variations I just posted. Today is my wedding anniversary so we will head out of town till later this evening. If you'd like to see any modifications just let me know. Take care Kent
The X on Elixir is not going to work over laying on "Brilliant" - we need "Brilliant" visible. If that curl can be shortened, it might be better. And also, could the E and the L from Elixir be combined into one verses the L being shrunk? meaning, they both have the same bottom? I really like how classy this logo is.
I really like your work here. My partner says she cannot read this font well enough though. Thank you so much for your myriad efforts here. Very impressive color palate and attention to detail.
I think your logo is the best representation of the classy age of San Francisco. Your work is extremely commendable and thank you so much for being so responsive. Our team has decided on the subtle flower heart logo, but yours was right there.
I have lots of fonts and I'm sure I can get to the perfect one with feedback on entries. I'm going home for a short lunch break but tonight I would love to make a lot of variations until I make the perfect one. Thank you Kent
I think you'll like a revised one I made. Same font but made the X same height and and thickened it so symmetrical. Also made Elixir more rounded and on one version the negative space of the X top and bottom is a heart shape. If you have a chance tonight to put me in first I'll upload those and others.
Thank you. Didn't know you would respond that fast. Just ran to the store to get my daughter her medicine. They are filling it now. I'll be back as fast as possible. Kent
#318 is a good font for this era. Could you emboss it and give it a Legendary Pictures quality - but like the letters were made of golden rods or liquid gold?
Can we see #331 with a darker shadow drop behind? We are looking to use a beige parchment paper look, and I like this gold, but it doesn't pop on the beige yet. It looks fantastic on the dark green or black (but this is like the branding we've had for years and are trying to move away from to a slightly more feminine friendly and elegant look).
#354 is really close! Could I see "Brilliant" a little larger? And was it awkward or cheesy putting the BE in a droplet? The shape you have now is an 'egg' shape, and it looks nice, but it still leaves me wanting a bit.
I think the Elixir font is awesome, nay perfect! You put the spurs on the I's just like I was imaging, but kept forgetting to tell you! Nice.
The "BE" is very classy, but I cannot read it. Could you possibly connect the bottom two elements of the B+E to make a heart between them, while swooping the bottom of the B to the bottom of the E?
What has come up for me in this tournament is that I want this logo to look like you could put it on the exterior of a San Francisco victorian house. Literally, I'm thinking about making the bottles look like victorian houses. Very excited about this direction and excited to be on this path with you.
Very nice work on enlarging the Elixir and making the BE!
Notes: 1) the BE could be a tiny bit smaller to fit better in the drop. Seems a bit squished.
2) Brilliant is still a nip hard to read. Can we do an experiment of making it the same size as Elixir and one that's 75% as large. It's the best font I've seen in all my years with this business to fit the word Brilliant in our context, so cheers to your vision.
3) will the leafy Victorian elements be more embossable when not in vector format? It's hard to see the definition.
4) I like the exploding lines coming out. Can the gradient behind the BE be a central point of light instead of a line?
Thank you so much! I think it larger just competes too much. Also did one a bit wider and hopefully more readable but not competing. The reason the embossing isn't showing is the closeness of the color in some areas. Real embossing out of all gold can look really great, Whoever makes the actual die for that take the art and crafts it into that. If just printing we can play with the colors to make more apparent.
Thanks again for working with me and all your support Best to you as well Kent
I showed it to some designers tonight and they thought the BE was a bit too clean. Almost so clean that it doesn't fit (as it resembles Chanel a bit).
Can you try it a few different ways in this back-back format? 1) Your inspiration 2) Maybe with two lines between the letters (like we started with) - i was told to make the B part a tiny bit wider? 3) Or curving the letters differently? 4) or adding fence spokes to the ends of the E? 5) Different font altogether
I like the 'i's on 363, but maybe a little smaller tip and hopefully coming out the same height as 361 - which feels like subtle and classy enhancement.
