Breakaway Private NetworksLogo Design Contest

Really like this concept, especially the "breaking away" of the text. Here's a challenge: can you incorporate some of the elements I've mentioned in the comments while still keeping it clean? Can you make it a little bolder?

i put cut lines in the top because they are symbolizing the ranks given to officers and military men.

i dunno it just makes me think of authority. what do you think?

have to say, I still like #23. I think it's the best of the clean, simple entries I've gotten. I'm acting as the first reviewer for all these, but will put the entire finalist list in front of the exec team before end of week.

We may opt for a clean, simple logo as a group. In which case, you're well positioned with #23.

Nice work, Sean. I see you've picked up on where I was pushing Dazzle. Clearly he was influenced by your designs on the "break away" idea. I was pushing him toward some art deco eagles. Take a look at #85. I liked the concept but it was too busy, and would like to see what it would look like if the three symbols were replace by an art deco version of the US Great Seal eagle: http://www.tribwatch.com/coatGreatSealUS.bmp
