Thank you for these beautiful designs. To make things simpler, I'm going to leave all feedback on the main comments page, so that it's centrally located. For #42, I would like some more color, especially behind the woman. I'm not totally crazy about the shape of the border. Read my comments section, and that may help you see what was appealing about some of the other designs. Thank you for spending the time to do this. Good luck! :-)
Thank you, Blink. This is definitely heading in the right direction. Thank you for putting it on a white background, too. And I do like how she contrasts with her own background. I'm not crazy about the color combinations here, though. I have the color samples in a jpg version now in case you need it: http://senduit.com/ed975a
Could we try a different shield shape? And maybe make the swirly embellishment seem to overflow from top rather than from the bottom sides? Great work; thank you!
Dear Blink, #86 This is improving alot. I have seen other contests where the designers put some shading into the character and the whole image to make it seem more 3 dimensional. For example: Comptoir de l'Or #145 by Brendan Could we try this please? I would also love to see some more different font styles. Check the main comments page, as we attached a link for some fonts we're interested in. Thank you again.
#86-I am liking this blue shade inside the shield. I want to use something like this with a brilliant shade of purple for our main colors. Fee free to experiment with two main colors.
Great job! We like this alot. I especially love how you did her shading/highlighting to make her look 3D. However, we are looking for more of an old-fashioned, 1940's pin-up type style of drawing, rather than the digital-type Pixar-type illustration. We want it to look like it could have been made with just a paint brush- rather than a computer. I'm sorry I don't know the terminology for this type of drawing. See #111 for reference. Thank you for participating. We appreciate having you in this contest! Thank you so much. Very nice work.
Thank you very much for your comments. I thought that you did'd want something classic. I disagree with you, because i believe that this drawing have something from 40's because of the floral style and at the same time is a nowdays design because of the woman's style. Although, the finaly choise is yours and i respect it. Blink
