Hi! Here are a varied typefaces that have been custom kerned and edited. I tried to stay away from anything that would be too flashy/easily-dated. A couple of the fonts I've used are sort of vintage-throwbacks...kind of a Don Draper vibe. If you see a direction you like, but want me to pursue a bit further, just let me know! :)
Here are some different treatments. The coloring could always change (or remain all black) - just wanted to throw it out as an option. For the split logo, I was thinking a subtle hint at "new horizons" / "new dawn" as it pertains to you guys propeling a customer's brand forward. If you like a particular direction, just let me know and I can try and take it further!
thanks again josh
ALSO - small tweak - I changed the period from a square to a circle...I thought it mimicked the mark better.
#73 is something we can discuss when we pick the logo. it could be a powerful way to use it.
#75 is great! Please send treatment that keeps font solid black above the "horizon." And good idea to change square to circle (I thought it was a circle already).
***Important final comment: please try two or three other fonts when you implement the change to #75 since we are not 100% sold on that font. Keep it bold and strong and clean and try for something even more "different" if possible.***
had time for a couple tries...I started thinking of southern CA and thought I'd try a a slightly more relaxed font. I really like how the N & D meshed into each other on this font. I'll keep looking at fonts, though - just wanted to get this one out there when I had a chance.
I made a few tweaks with some of the letters - just to see what you thought. The "S"s and the "G" lead into the next character now...to make it a more continuous/unified logo. Just a thought. :)
Thanks for the feedback - it is really great when a CH can remain involved! In this version I shortened the "G" and pulled the first "S" off of the dot so that it stands out better. The previous "G" did look off-balance - good call!
No problem, it's very important to me and fun. The font is a go, but please move the word STUDIOS to the right just a bit more so the dot is as visible as it was on #25 way back when. Also just sent you a note about injecting colors and final file formats.
You're reading my mind! I was just going to say that I realized the B wasn't the same, so I changed it, in addition to the feedback about making the dot more noticeable (made it a few hairs larger)!
I have to step out for a few hours (it's 9 here - I'll be back around noon)...but anything else you need, just let me know and I'll knock it out for you. Thanks again! josh
Please move STUDIOS over a tad more and finish off the bottom of the first S so it doesn't look cut off. At least to get it so the far left end of the bottom part of the S is even with the far left side of the top part of the S if you follow me.
I will be away from 10:30 am PST until 3 pm PST and can check back then and declare we have a winner!
