Please keep in mind that we are seeking creative innovative concepts. We already have two logos with brain related images for Brain Health Alliance and BHAVI. There is no requirement that the logo for Brainiacs Journal must have a brain related image. It may but it's not required. The journal will be devoted to imaging and computing sciences for brain related problems including brain health, brain disease, brain inspired artificial intelligence. Consider modern abstract representations that may or may not incorporate graphics suggestive of a "brain" image.

As another comment with guidance for all designers, please keep in mind that we will not be selecting a logo that merely "reuses" either our logo for Brain Health Alliance or our logo for BHAVI. Whereas the new logo should look nice and go well with the other two logos, the new logo should NOT reuse either of the other two logos. Again please keep in mind that the new logo will be used with a new journal that publishes research papers related to brain imaging and computing sciences. If you use a graphic image suggestive of any of these aspects, whether brain or imaging or computing or libraries books journals and papers, then please do NOT embed any acronyms of letters in the graphic image part of the logo. Also, we will not begin ranking any of the logos until the end of the blind phase in an effort to encourage all designers to imagine their most creative and innovative designs that cannot be found easily at image collections sites with just a Google search of "brain" and "logo". Please follow these comments for further remarks during the blind phase.

As feedback on the use of text in combination with a graphic image, if you do use the words "Brainiacs Journal" in combination with the words on a second line with "of Brain Imaging and Computing Sciences", then please do not repeat use of "Brainiacs Journal" twice on both the first and second lines of word text.

I'm really sorry! Due to a glitch related to Daylight Savings Time, this contest's timeline shifted forward temporarily from Blind to the Finalists phase. We have corrected the issue, and returned the contest to the Blind phase. With entries being revealed temporarily, we are considering this a modified Blind phase. If this causes any issues for you, please contact Support and I’ll do my best to resolve things for you right away.
