Good luck with your new logo! 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #423 Thank you very much for recommending the green pantone, and thank you for your kind help and creative design. We will finalize this last one 423 as the winning selection. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #420 Green RGB 124 255 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #421 Green RGB 255 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #423 green Pantone 7481 C 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #422 green Pantone 7481 C 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #419 green RGB 124 255 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #418 green RGB 255 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #415 And if the lime green is too bright ??? Then please also consider a shade of green such as LawnGreen color code 7CFC00 and rgb(124,252,0). Thanks, Carl 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #415 We prefer the greener green to the yellowish green. Everything is looking pretty good now except for the final choice on the shade of green. From the color names at https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_names.asp, there's the color lime green with color code 00FF00 and rgb(0, 255, 0). How does this lime green look on both the light background and the dark background? Let's finalize a greener green and not a yellowish green. Thanks! Much appreciated, kind regards, Carl 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #417 On this one, I kept the light colors from the dark background but I think that is too bright. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #416 On this one, I lighten the colors to pop on dark backgrounds and also I modify the purple page. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #415 Hi, On this one I kept the original colors and also I modify the purple page as you requested (I hope I done it right). 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #409 Please check my oder entries, the one within Arial black as you requested and another one with a taller sans serif font. I'll do more tomorrow Nice to hear that you traveled in my country. I'm from North East region of Romania, Iasi city. 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #414 We prefer Arial Narrow Bold for “Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences” and Nexa Bold for “BRAINIACS”. The green, medium blue, and purple colored “pages” of the brain have good contrast on the light background, but not as much contrast on the dark background. Can you brighten the shades of the green, blue and purple colored “pages” of the brain so that they appear brighter and “pop” with better contrast also on the dark background? And instead of using white color for the “BRAINIACS” text and the white “non-page” part of the brain image on the dark background, can you use a very light shade of sky blue with a lighter shade of blue than the medium blue for the “Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences” text. Last adjustment if possible, can the purple “page” not be attached and connected to the rest of the brain image so that there’s a very small gap between each of the green, blue, and purple pages separating each of the 3 pages from the rest of the brain image. The small gap should be approximately the same size for each of the 3 “pages”. Then the 4th “page” which does have a vertex angular point and same color as the rest of the brain image can remain connected to the rest of the brain. 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #413 We prefer Arial Narrow Bold for “Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences” and Nexa Bold for “BRAINIACS”. Last year, I travelled through Romania and visited Bucharest and Pitesti, and I hope to visit again your beautiful country. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #409 Hello, Wow, thank you for choosing my entry, I'm glad you like it. Regarding the transparences, don't worry, the source file is a vector format so you can export the logo in any file format you want (png with transparency, etc). The font I've used on 409 entry is Antena. So, if you want more examples with different fonts, let me know. Regards! Dan Pirciu 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #411 On this one, I've used Nexa Bold for the BRANIACS and Gotham for the rest of the text. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #412 I've made this one for dark backgrounds, maybe you'll use it for prints or embroidery on dark shirts. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #413 I've made this one for dark backgrounds, maybe you'll use it for prints or embroidery on dark shirts. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #414 On this one, i've used Arial Black for the BRANIACS and Arial Narrow Bold for the rest of the text. 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #409 At today's annual meeting of board directors, your logo image and design was chosen based on your creative image that can be interpreted as both a brain and also pages of a journal. Congratulations on such a wonderfully creative graphic image design! We would now like to finish the logo design with you by carefully choosing the font and color for the text part on the word "BRAINIACS" and font and color for the text part on the phrase "Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences". Could you please also make sure that graphic image and text objects are all independent objects in the vector graphics source markup for the logo with transparent background? Can you demonstrate that the logo design does have a transparent background by using it with two different color backgrounds that show through the empty parts (currently showing in white) of both the image and the text, for example, the white parts of the B, the R, and the A and the white part of the brain and pages. See how the background color of the web pages shows through the image and letters of the BHAVI logo at www.BHAVI.us. We'd like to be able to use light shades of off-white, possibly also very light shades of gray or blue as background colors that would show through the logo with transparent background to allow the web page background color to show through. Please also consider a medium blue for the phrase "Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences" in comparison to the dark blue for "BRAINIACS". We'd also like to consider some font alternatives that may not have such a "tall" aspect ratio of height to width for each letter. What is the name of the font in this logo 409? What about Arial Black for "BRAINIACS" and Arial Regular for "Brain Imaging And Computing Sciences"? Can you recommend some other sans serif font? Again, thank you for your creative design. Everybody at Brain Health Alliance liked your work! 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #396 Thank you; we have kept your design in first place, but decision will be made tomorrow at the Directors Meeting. Can you provide one more version of this logo design 396 with the image of the brain flipped in opposite direction so back of brain is to left and front of brain is to right near the word "BRAINIACS"? 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #290 sure, in few minutes 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #290 Any chance of another version of your logo as described in my previous message --- before our Annual Meeting of Board Directors tomorrow Sunday? 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #290 We will be making our final selection this Sunday at our Brain Health Alliance Directors Meeting. Can you make another variation with just the word "BRAINIACS" to the right of the graphic image and the phrase "Brain Imaging and Computing Sciences" under the combination of the graphic image and the word Brainiacs. 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #290 Brain Health Alliance will have its Annual Meeting of Board Directors on Sunday, and we will be making our final selection of logo then. We have not yet made a decision amongst the logos from the top 5 ranked designers. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #291 Hello, I did the changes plus another one with all the text but with a taller font for a better visibility. Let me know if you need more revisions. Regards! Dan Pirciu 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #53 Chosen for the image, not for the text. What about flipping the image left-right so that brain front to left and brain back to right, then put "Brain" to left, "IACS" to right, and "Journal" underneath, analogous to the way that logo was done for Brain Health Alliance logo. 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #201 Your image has moved to the top of the list. Can you prepare some versions with text underneath the image instead of to the right of the image? We now believe we will choosing vertical orientation instead of horizontal orientation, then we will maintain consistency with our other logos for BHA and BHAVI which have a vertical orientation. Also what about some versions with less text such as just "BRAINIACS" on first line and "Brain Imaging and Computing Sciences" on second line. Another alternative would be analogous to the way our original BHA logo was done with the word "Brain" to left, "Health" to right, and "Alliance" underneath for the BHA logo. Analogously, what about "Brain" to left, "IACS" to right, and "Journal" underneath? 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #201 Thanks for feedback! Do you like it now? 4 years ago ctaswell commented on #52 Your graphics image is very interesting! But please do not repeat "Brainiacs Journal" twice in the text part of the logo. Please also consider using some color in the text part instead of just black. 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #52 A combination of brain and journal (files). 4 years ago Pirciu commented on #53 A combination of brain and journal (files). 4 years ago
