Here are two versions of a basic single concept but different applications of color and a Boston skyline.

I am trying to keep it very simple so I have not used any fades or reflections / etc. - this is ready for any media, but extra bells and whistles can be added on any time.

Your #15 looks more sophisticated than this one. The slogan font on #15 is better, and the use of the dotted line in this logo detracts from the clean lines that you had in #15. The high-rise skyline versus the traditional house is heading in a good direction, we just need to make the skyline more Boston.

The dotted lines are in both, maybe just smaller in #15 - i'll send another revision: any specific building or skyline view? any feedback on colors?

Yes, the dotted lines are much smaller in #15, and perhaps more importantly, the horizontal dotted line is not there - the logo looks better without the horizontal line. For skyline ideas, see the unique skyline logo of condodomain [.] com (please do not copy their logo, simply use it as an idea to generate unique thoughts). In terms of Boston specific skyline, the most notable highrises in Boston are the Hancock Tower, Prudential Center, and 111 Huntington - if you need pointers to any of these, please advise. On colors, the use of red is very nice, also, the blue and green used in #16 really pops.

I didn't add antennas since it would make it too tall, but used a common view of the prudential center/111 huntington. I also didn't add any other buildings just out of want to keep it simple - so let me know feedback on this version and we'll go from there. Thank you!

Having an antenna on the Prudential Tower would help define it more. Looking at the Tower today in person, you really get the feel that the antenna adds a lot to its distinction, is there anyway to incorporate that, but as you say, not go too tall? The slightly darker gray font of #15 is nice versus the lighter. This is coming together, just seems to be missing a little pop to it.

Above comment is based on #36, especially the capital font chosen. Still debating about the horizontal line used in #36 versus no horizontal line in #28. Thoughts?

I think the latest version is a good layout, i am still using 'dots', vs full lines, but it's hard to see so small, which makes more sense with the layout being open/outlined, but I did make them black and moved the outline underneath which seems to pull it all together more - and the logo can be 'shorter' since it got taller, so room for antennas works much better.

The font you use for BOSTON is nice. The abstractness of the building graphics in #100 is nice, with #60, it might be getting too close to the real thing, which almost detracts from it. Thoughts?

On #60, the 3D nature of the Prudential Center graphic looks off next to the 111 Huntington graphic - can you update this and perhaps make the graphics slightly more abstract like is seen in #100? Also, the font used for BOSTON appears to be much more modern than the Impact font used for Real Estate Observer, the narrowness of the font is probably necessary, but are there other options we can look at in order to mesh the two font choices together better?

#150 solved the 3D issue, so it looks better on that front, so let's use that as the new baseline. The BOSTON font needs to remain as what is in #60, so can you swap that out. Let's change the tag line font to that which is in #28 and #36.

Were getting close, there's just some small tweeks that need to be made.

And the building graphics and lines in #150 could stand to be a shade of darker gray, they are currently hard to pick up.
