Borderless OffroadLogo Design Contest

I like the helmet idea... Can I see it with more of a stencilled font, similar to what logope and night owl have done.

Second, could you refine the helmet a bit, it looks a little crude, even in the low res version i can see.

Finally, can you think of something other than the dash across the forehead of the helmet to represent borderless?

Still not really what I'm looking for.

I like the first helmet better, can you think of another concept that ties I'm the borderless concept a little better without the circle or any slashes through the helmet.

The font is a little too bold for what we're going for. I'm thinking a little more of an elegant stencilized font. If that makes sense?

I've just been speaking with my business partner about these logos, and we like your conceots.

Do you have any other designs that are not armor/helmet based that represent being "Borderless"?

I like the font in #418... The flame element is interesting as well. Can I see a similar element, but as the mane of a running horse instead?

I like the emotion in 421 over 420. Can you make it a little more obvious it's a horse. Maybe show a little more of the bottom of the neckline. It's looking good though!

My business partner and I absolutely LOVE where this is headed. We like the horse element so much, in fact, that we're considering changing the name of our startup business to accommodate.

Can you please replace "Borderless" with:
1. "Dark Horse"
2. "Dark Horse Culture" (just like you did with "Borderless Offroad" in #432

I think you adjusted the wrong one. I was hoping for the change of text for the #425 style (currently in 1st place).

#445 and #446 should be right. Hard to keep track a little.

Alright, everything is looking great. We want the "Culture" to be included, and definitely below like you have it, however, we're not sold on the font. I like that it's smaller, but can you try a few different font iterations for "culture"?

still not liking the font in "culture" can you fire a few more... try using a similar stencil font like the dark horse

BTW we're definitely going with you for the contest. We're not going to rank the new Dark Horse name as number one until the contest is over. Just so the rest of the entrants don't go crazy with dark horse iterations.

The domain is darkhorseculture.com.. try putting a .com after the word culture... see how that looks. Right now I'm liking number 447 the best with the spaced letters.

Also, we will be laser cutting the logo into steel... Can I see the logo with a cut out of the D similar to the A you used in "Dark"

Try using the same font, sizing, and spacing as "culture".

Can you carry on that cut out on to the letter "O" in Borderless, and also the letters "R" and "O" in Culture.com?

Carry the dash through the "T" in culture as well... similar to what you did with the "E" in darkhorse.

Just hashing over the logo... I think we'll keep the name and font as it is in entry #452. However, I just realized that the eye of the horse is disconnect and will not laser out of steel... The eye will fall out. Can you runs line into the eye that keeps the centre connected with outside?

Also, for the rest of our marketing, what is the name of the base font(s) you're using for the dark horse culture name?

I will submit the final iteration for your consideration. With regards to fonts this is something designers usually disclose after a contest is finalised and payment released so as to protect their creative. More than happy to give you all this information then, and I can also give you some insight into my other abilities to help you with design.

#454 actually looks better I think with the eye attached.

I agree, it does look better... I just can't cut that out of steel. If I laser cut everything that is black out. The white in the centre of the eye will fall out. You brought the white forward with the eye socket. Try bringing it down instead.

the white in the centre is joined to the outside now and would remain after you cut out the black surround wouldn't it?

this actually improves the design again I think...looking good.

Keep the initial design... just where the eye comes to a point.. carry a little white space forward and down. If that makes sense. I think I'd like to see al title more black around the eye than the last design.

I do like this one the best so far... I think the white band that comes down is a little too thick... Just close it back up a little.

ok #458 is done. This is now 50 iterations. I have no doubt that you could adjust these subtleties when water jetting or laser cutting and you may need to as a visual may not be accurate. Happy with #458

One last thing. What is the base font(s) you're using to build the Dark Horse Culture name? I understand you've modified it, just wondering what you're starting with, so I can get a hold of it for marketing purposes.
