Color Preferences
Please DO NOT use a Blue & Green combo. All other color combos are open. (Blue or green can be used with other colors however.)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like to keep this logo very simple. Flat, solid color, vector style is what we are looking for in the typeface. Please avoid using gradients or heavy outlines in the typeface as well. The typeface should be bold, unique, but not to "out there", and be readable at a very small size.

We're also interested (but not set on) an icon to accompany the typeface and/or to be used as a stand alone. Think of the Facebook (F) icon, or Apple's icon of the "bitten apple". All icons created should be on the left of the type face. Icons are open to being 3D or having dimension as well as flat vector style.

Please DO NOT use the Magnify Glass as an icon. Thanks!

NOTE: Please do not use a "reflection" technique in your design. (we all love it, I know)

:)
Thanks.

Keep up the great work everyone!

One quick note... The magnify glass as an icon (#6, #7, #12) is something we've been told not to use. Should have mentioned in the notes. Sorry...

So far the clean lines of the typeface in #2 are catching my eye the most.

We are also looking for the "B,b" in boopsie to stand alone as it's own icon potentially. An example of placement would be an iPhone app icon.

#8 thru #11 are too childish for this brand. Thanks for the entry though. :)

The icon style of #16 is GREAT! I love the "highlight" effect. Although, we CAN NOT use the magnify glass as an iconic element.

simplistic icons like #27 and #28 are great... Would love to see some more variations like these.

Very encouraged everyone. I appreciate all the entries. Keep them coming. :)

#41 has a very creative take on a different iconic representation of Search/Find. The sniffing dog very interesting, although anything iconic needs to translate to an iPhone app icon very easily. Much as the way #28 or #27 could.

Great Job everyone!!! Really like the recent entries. The clean lines and simplicity of #56 with it's icon is super smooth. Had to move it to 1st place. Also the cleverness of #51 and #54 is AWESOME!

Super Impressed everyone!!! Keep up the great work! You guys rock!

i cant understand that in preferences you had chosen a colorfull logo, and in spite of that, you had decided a grey logo is the best--

You make a very valid point eckodesigns. I apologize for any confusion. In fact we are looking for a colorful logo, but colors can be changed relatively easily (if they have to be) once the final files are received from the winner. That said, I'm paying more attention right now to the overall design, type face, and iconic graphic vs. the actual colors in order to rank the entries.

If you've got any great ideas on how to make this colorful and pop. I'd love to see it.

Thanks for the message. Hope this helps bring clarity to any of the other designers.

Is "readable at a very small size" still a requirement? Confused by ranking.

Hi Nancy,

I understand your point as the icon in #129 doesn't quite work (yet) at a very small size where as #124 and #101 do better.

So, I'd say yes... Working at a small size is a requirement. Sorry for the confusion! :)

Absolutely fantastic entries everyone!! Seriously great job. I'm extremely pleased.

The top 30 entries will be presented Monday 7/13, narrowed down to the top 5, then a winner will be selected. This presentation will be to the boopsie team who will make the final decision. So, as of right now... Anyone in the top 30 could become the potential winner.

If you have made alternate versions of your logo entries, please do not remove them. They will potentially be used for the presentation as well.

Thank you all for your creative energy, input, and especially time. It is much appreciated and respected.

Have a great day!
