thanks Pat, i like your approach ... but i guess the administration of the university likes the logo (as seen on the website (www.boku.ac.at). Can you stick a little bit closer to it? Also i would like the slogan underneath the logo: "females in research, science and technology".

#12 ... looks better. let me know the background of the bar under BO and above KO. The LOGO is the CI of the University. Also it shouldn't be inclided. I know this is a bit narrow minded, but even if I'm not a friend of it the University changed the logo after a long painful discussion and I don't want to warm up this discussion (if you understand what I mean) ;-)

The "FIRST" looks good and so does the background.

The bars started with the idea in the first design. I had smaller rectangles (which symbolized interlocking of the two parts) and they got longer just for design purposes. Thanks for the comments and I will get to them here in a bit and re-submit. Thanks, Pat
