Hello Teeboz. Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Please make the logo neutral if possible. We are really not digging the basic flat silhouette image. If body builders are used, make them stand out and please use creativity. We want the logo to feel refreshing and inspiring at first glance. The colors are not limited to just red and blue... I'd rather have it feel more adventurous than patriotic (typical All American red and blue), unless the red and blue colors are dynamic, meaning it pops, have lighting glares, outlines, etc.... anything! Just not too basic. Let's liven it up a bit! I appreciate all the entries thus far and hope you stay inspired.

I would love to see more Iconic 3D symbolism not related to bodies ..... as I will be working with "average" people as well as body builders... and creative uses of pictorial marks, creative emblems (ie: Versace Ferrari, etc), please be creative.

PS. The use of a temple is definitely an option.. kind of like Roman Temples. I love those. Any ideas on that? You guys are the designers... =)

I could definitely see something like this... maybe with temples, subtle christian symbols, etc

To all, Entries with dark backgrounds are great initially for the feel and to display the logo better, however we would also like versions with light backgrounds as well. =) Thanks

Hello all, anxious to see a couple versions that are brighter colors... a lot of the logos I am seeing are VERY NICE but seem gloomy or dark! We want to inspire a healthy lifestyle and healthy atmosphere when clients enter our building. I'm starting to think that brighter/illuminated tones will suit a gym better. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments. The golds in the logos point to luxury, I know. But maybe there can still be luxury with other colors that will promote more adventure in the logo. Maybe outdoors, I'm not too certain. I am very open to seeing more color nonetheless, and less black and gold. Keep them coming guys, we haven't found the ONE yet, but am very hopeful!!!

Oh yeah, I would like to see more emblems please. Gold's Gym is a competitor, so not like that exactly, a bit more jazzier and detailed if you will. make it pop and stand, but most importantly not too busy.

We haven't found that one yet. We do like quite a few. If you have any other entries, now is the time to submit as we will be narrowing down our options. Thanks everyone.
