Our Ideas & Additional Information
I am drawn to mermaids (love, beauty, mystery, sensual, emotion, untamed, femininity). They are shown holding mirrors in art-a symbol of the moon which speaks of a reflective nature. Being half human, half fish, mermaids remind me of the importance of embracing all sides of ourselves and seeing the sacred in the mundane.
I would also if possible like a spiral to somehow be incorporated. The spiral is a very feminine symbol, representing not only women but a variety of things associated with women. Besides lifestyles, fertility and childbirth, the spiral can reference intuition and more internal concepts associated with women. The spiral can also stand for coming into the being and the chakras centers in the body.
