Daniel, thanks for the design. Very nice! I'd be interested in seeing the table either 1) filled in as a solid with a transparent outline to see its edges, or 2) having it remain as-is, but having the rounded rectangle connected at the bottom (right now it kind of looks like someone took a bite out of it:). But I love the concept and style. Secondly, we might be having a name change from BoardIQ to BoardBiz. You don't need to do anything about it now, but if we select you as the winner, is it possible to change the "IQ" to "Biz" afterwards?
Nice work, Daniel. For #56, I would like to see how it looks if you keep the people in red, but fill in the other dark red areas with same style of gold that use have in #55. Once that is done, maybe even one version where the people are a little bigger. Thank you! --Bill
One other thing, thanks for adding "Biz" to some of the items. Whereas I have not made that an open comment for all, I may not rank those entries because it might confuse other designers. In fact, in my previous comment I should have used #53 and #54 instead of the ones I did---please update the BoardIQ logos instead of the BoardBiz ones---I at least know how the "Biz" will look.
One last comment, I like the font you have chosen, but would also be interested in seeing a simple Serif font. Something "elegant" but not too fancy---and I'm thinking it will look best in bold. Thanks.
Daniel, still looking great. Here's another round of feedback. 1. I like the original sans-serif font you have, like in #53. 2. Try adding a little more color or gradient to the word "Board" so that is stands out a little more from "IQ" (or "Biz"), and try giving them each the same drop shadow as the image. 3. I like the concept of #71 and #72 (not sure what the difference is between them)--- would like to see it without the "upside-down U-shaped line" around each person, which would allow you to make each person larger---maybe even slightly bigger than #53. 4. Lastly, not sure if the detail would allow this, but if this was a real peice of carved gold, you might be able to see the depth in the people. So, for example, if you take #72 and make the people larger, and they were really "cut out" from this piece of gold, would we see a slight shadow (or other effect) around some of its edges?
Daniel, I'm not certain if additional posts are permitted at this point, but I will give feedback nonetheless. I like the larger size of the people and the elimination of the outlines in #102, but I still like the style of the red people on the gold background (like in #72). What I was trying to convey last time is that if the people were red and background was red, it would be like the people were "cut out" of the gold piece and you could see "through it", much like the lettering in #64. If this effect is not possible, then at least having the other changes mentioned would be great. I'm trying to work with you for the winning selection. Thanks. Bill
Daniel, looking great. You make the decision challenging because you make multiple designs appealing! Let's try one more thing: Take the people and table from #107 (like that shadow / cut-out effect) and place it on the gold piece from #100, which is a little simpler (no sparkles, less depth). That should allow me to make a final decision. Thanks. --Bill
Dear Bill. Thanks for your feedback. It is a pleasure to work for you. Here is my design based on # 100 and # 107. I hope you are all well. Your comments are welcome.
Daniel, that's great--just what I was looking for. I'm going to get some input and expect to have an answer for tomorrow. Also, out of curisoity, which design do you prefer---I'm interested in your input? --Bill
