BMW of murrietaLogo Design Contest

Ok, here's my take on your logo:
Staying with all "BMW" font (the new Helvetica in Bold and narrow) even on "of MURRIETA"
Slaunting font in order to indicate movement/going forward
Blue slaunting square in same light blue as BMW logo in order to connect to the brand more
A rectangular white background with a metallic border.
Here presented on grey concrete background since I suspect that you will keep the outside the same as today.

I tried with different checkered flags, but it look too cheesy in my opinion.

And please observe that BMW probably requires you to remake the logo you select as per their particular font and official logo in vector format. These are just my interpretation of the same. Although close to the original.

there is only one "t" in Murrieta please. Not to fond of the blue box around the "of". I like what you are doing but could be lengthened some. Thanks!

Per BMW the BMW Roundel MUST be on the left side of the delaership name. I loke where you are going but would ike to see the flag in black not blue. Similar to our Hendrickauto.com logo. Take a look on that website. The Hendrick Auto Group are partners of ours. You are close to the top!

#67 and 68 bring some new thoughts to mine. I would really like to have the BMW Motorsports M logo and three colors incorporated as well as some finish flag in black and white.

#97 is with the "M" Sports logo in the name. Or at least as close as I can make it.

Hoprfully you know this already, but I'm saying it anyway:
JPG, PNG, BMP files and alike are pixelbased files. Enlarging or even reducing sixe on such image has severe impact on the image resolution, hence we do not use such images in any logo design.

We use vector based graphics in order to fully accomodate any percieved need, be it stamp size or as large as the moon, when used or printed.

When you appoint a winner, it is likely you have to send the designer the BMW files (AI or EPS format ) and the BMW font in original. If not, you'll most likely run into difficulties when trying to put up a larger sign (larger than letter size). It will become pixelated and blurry.

You are in contention for the winner. Thanks for all your work and sharing of talent! It will take us about five to six days to complete the judging as my managers do not get back into town until Thursday and I want their input as well. I really like some of your color flag options while my partner is leaning towards the shields and B&W flags. I hope that you are in the winner circle.
