What We Do
Big Iron Industrial is a custom metalworking facility focusing on quality work including machining, fabrication, and welding, with an emphasis on high-end finishing.
Industry
Miscellaneous
Color Preferences
Black, grey, and white. We are willing to look at a small amount of red as an accent but do not want large parts to be in this color.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please note that we intend to print business cards with some spot foil (playing on the metal aspect of the business). Please design with this in mind.

Also- the "Inc." must be included in the logo for legal reasons.

The abstract mark should have a "structured" nature.

The logo has to strike a delicate balance: it needs to be polished and professional but must also be accessible and not intimidating to our smaller clients.

#2, 3 and 4 are heading in the right direction, but it needs to be less oil company executive, and more blue collar worker. The font has to be sans-serif, and I'd like the abstract mark to be more architectural. Right angles with soft corners. I do like the gradient in the red, it really makes the black and grey pop.

Another note: For the purposes of printing and duplication, the abstract mark should be to the left, and the business name to the right of the logo.

I'm open to seeing other concepts of the mark, it doesn't have to involve the name of the company, it can be more abstract. Other than that, great work so far.

Here's a link to a pic of welding being done. Is there any way that the flare could be used as an abstract mark in any way, or incorporated into the 'BI' in any way? I would be open to seeing it in a dark blue as well. Just the flare though, no person.
