BeLocatedOnlineLogo Design Contest

Loving the tooltips, globes, and magnifying glass ideas. They are all great tells on what we do in helping people get located on the internet.

To add to some of the ideas I've seen, having a tooltip where the O in BLO is a globe and is the top of the tooltip seems like a neat idea. Thought that having a simple map in there in the background would add some color, but its hard to picture the end result.

Definitely loving the creativity so far :)

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!

Here's another idea we'd really like to see:
- Replace out the "BLO" part with a simple map with a map marker on it (edit: OR keep the BLO but have it as the marker on the map?)
- We were thinking that the B, L, and O in the words Be Located Online could be the same so that it subliminally sticks out as BLO while keeping it simpler as well.

The map markers look great and really are great hints at what we do. We were thinking that having just one map marker might be the best since we are ultimately helping each customer get their specific business located on the web. Most of them have one location.

We are very open to new ideas regarding all of this, so very happy to see what you guys come up with. Thank you much!

I know you're excited about this tournament of yours, but one more tip - please be careful what you're asking for the designers. There are unique concepts and ideas which belongs to the designers uploaded them first. It won't be fair to ask everybody to do what they did.

Very good point, and well taken.

Since our business so closely revolves around helping small businesses, usually with one location, get found on search engine or on a map, we'd like to see if a map would look good as part of the logo. One of our original ideas was that the map could be displayed as something simple on a screen as part of the logo. Not sure if that would look too busy? If we use the map idea, maybe the "BLO" could be displayed on a marker on a map? Or overlay BLO on the map on the screen? (like a monitor screen).
