BasisLawLogo Design Contest

Thank you so much, everyone, for taking the trouble to design for us. We're really honored that so many talented people from all over the world are helping us with our project!

Now that we've seen several logos, I think we have a better sense of what works and what doesn't, and some further ideas.

1. Many of the designs incorporate a column to signify the legal profession. We're trying to set ourselves apart from more traditional law firms, and so we would prefer something more playful and abstract than a traditional, straightforward column.

2. We're finding that blue is not the main color that we want. Please feel free to play around with other colors! No need to avoid blue, of course, but it shouldn't be the predominant color. I think we would prefer designs with 2-3 colors.

3. We would really like a hint of three-dimensionality or perspective.

4. One suggestion for a way to indicate growth: trees or leaves (maybe even a vine?). We would appreciate a design that incorporates this idea, but in a somewhat abstract way.
