What We Do
Two parents and their one child or teen fill out questionnaires online (600+ questions) and we analyze the answers and provide reports which compare the family with healthy averages in 2 dozen areas (fitness, eating, nutrition knowledge, communications, self-esteem, anxiety, parenting style, etc.) and identify unhealthy areas and suggests goals for behavior change and skills that are needed to solve the problems.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
www.youthevaluationscale.com describes the family profile assessment service.

I envision a silhouette of a family as part of the logo. Maybe the family would be in a circle emblem with the words "Family Profile" encircling the family.

I don't want a logo for balboa publishing.

I want a

Pictoral mark for online family assessment of how the family functions and what areas need improvement.

Hi bobmellin,

Yes, designers should absolutely read the brief, but the confusion is probably because the contest has "Balboa Publishing" in the company name -- and we're used to that being the name to go with the logo. But I'm getting that you don't have a name for the service -- you just want an image (a pictoral mark). Is that correct?

It might help to eliminate confusion -- especially for designers whose native language isn't English -- if you change the company name in the brief to something like: "Pictoral mark needed for online family health service" or something like that. It would help draw the right designers as well. Just an idea -- trying to help.

Thank you for your patience. If I knew what I was doing I'd do it myself.

But I see that we are getting close.

Would you please

1. Make the entire keyhole, including the inside area, dark

2. Make the dad and the child white and the mom dark. (I know this is opposite what I asked for originally but I now see that the inside of the keyhole should be dark.)

3. Place the family so the dad's head is in the center of the keyhole circle.

4. Can you change the shape of their bodies so they are more rounded and not so rigid looking? Wider at the stomach and narrowing slightly at the shoulders?

5. Make the lower sides of the keyhole vertical, not angled outward. And shorten the bottom half of the keyhole.

6. Make the keyhole a little wider so the family isn't crowded.

7. Can you put "Knowledge Is The Key" arched INSIDE the keyhole at the top, above the dad's head?

8. Spread the family out vertically more. The base of the child should end at the base of the logo with no line below the white child. So the logo will have an opening at the bottom, which will be the child.

Thanks.
