Please note that the 'Top 5' phase has been extended by a few days. Please note our earlier feedback. We are keen to see your next versions such that we can finalise our selection. Thank you.
Dear CH, this logo looks appealing, simple and clean (that's why you like it I believe) exactly because it's already sufficient. The stricture lines should be barely visible to emphasize the brand name. The typeface is also classic, without cheesy glyphs to show a trust and professionalism.
#268 Can we please look at some more developed options that make the letter 'A' more prominent. We are looking for a 'symbol' as such in the logo that we can use on the second page of a letter, without necessarily using the whole logo each time.
#268 : Dear CH, this concept based on the idea of using blue prints and tech drawings to show creation, development, so I played on common association with the notion of development. Adding extra things to this concept will cause a dissonance and unprofessional look. I try not to provide clients with cheesy looking designs. I submitted several other concepts with a symbol you can use alone. Check out #407 and #708. Thank you.
We are pretty sure that this is what we will be selecting as the winner. A couple of final comments/queries/requests;
- The letter 'R' looks proportionally too narrow compared to the adjacent letters - can thus be addressed. - Can you please show us what this looks like as a 'negative', ie: with a dark bliue and/or black backgrounds. we will be looking to use the logo in both a negative and positive manner - Can you please also show us what the logo looks like with all words removed, ie: with just the 4 lines. We need an 'image' to use as well as the logo (ie: as a secondary letter header etc) and are keen to see how it looks alone. Finally, can we also see a version that uses grey font for the words 'Development Group'. Thanks for your efforts.
Dear CH, some more entries submitted with the fixed size of R-letter and inverted colors. Regarding your request about the entry without letters. I don't think it will work. The entire concept based on the wordmark logo, where lines are part of the entire image/brand. There could be different ways to incorporate such lines in other corporate identity items, but unfortunately we're not allowed to provide you with mockups.
When sending through the logo's, can you please ensure that you send though all typical formats, B&W version, watermarks (colour/ B&W). Please also send through the fonts and the negative (ie: black background) as well.
Can you also please mock up some business cards (front and back) and letterheads.
We like the most recently uploaded image (ie: lines only, without the words), if we can some how wind that into the back of cards (perhaps as a negative image), and as header on following letter pages.
