This design is quite versatile and will work well in one color (embroidery, engraving, etc.) and won't lose detail when reproduced in small sizes (imprints on pens, etc.)
Oooo, i like #141 a lot. I see you added some light shading to bring the symbol and letters off of the page. Can you show me the same type using same colors but with a white background. Anything else your working on. I really like the minimalism here. Very modern.
I like it better. You're amazing, you have come up with one single design that has defended a top spot regardless of other designers evolving renditions.
I'd like to know, what inspired you to come up with this design. What does it say to you and, more importantly, what were you trying to communicate to an audience that might view this logo? Also what advantages do you think I would have going with your logo over others. Sell me!! :-) This is getting very tough for me so i'm reaching out to all the leaders to get a sense of their story. Thanks Zrox,
Hi Gregg. I have to admit, I have a personal love for lettermark designs. I think in many cases they are easier to establish in terms of recognition and create a much stronger brand identity than abstract symbols. Think of it this way, if the symbol were to stand alone, seeing that letter "A" in the design will go a long way toward reminding your audience of your name. The Nike Swoosh is great, but it took a great deal of time (and money) before it became commonly recognized.
Hopefully you've already seen my note above regarding reproduction quality and versatility. I think that is also a strong selling point of this design.
Thanks for allowing me to discuss my entry. If you need anything else from me to make the decision process easier, please don't hesitate to ask. I know brand selection is a very personal thing. :-)
Yes, the original design is still my favorite as well, but I wanted to dig deeper into my "idea file" to be sure we weren't missing any good options. :-)
Man, I just love your style. its a close race for me and I have some very tough decisions ahead of me. I posted a comment on the community page explaining my evolution of ideas as reflected in the rating. I don't know if you have any new concepts that you can think of while not sacrificing a bit regarding your style.
Number #267 is still among my favorites and I believe could be transitioned into an entire corporate identity program but I also love the idea of communicating the company values as well. If I can have both then thats the winner.
