Hello David -
you are probably asking yourselves - why an elephant. Well why not? I thought that this little guy looked like he could be called Arthus. I think that he would be easy to stitch as well. We could leave out the background colors for that. This logo is simple, fun and serious at the same time. Let me know what you think.

Hello Fatkid,

This is Catherine, David's wife. I will be the one who will speak to you in the future.

Many thanks for your designs. The quality is very nice. The one I prefer is the elephant. I like the drawing style very much and the font. The drawing of the elephant has a "realism" quality that I like. It looks just real enough but still a bit cartoon. The bear on the other hand is too much like teddy bear / cartoon. But I like a bear. Arthus (which is our son's name) actually means "bear" in its Celtic origin. So maybe do a bear that looks more real like the elephant (or a baby bear / cub or even a small panda), keeping the general style of the elephant.... I hope I am clear and my english is OK :), please feel free to ask me questions.

Best regards,

-Catherine

Hello Catherine - I know exactly what you are saying. The elephant was kind of a long shot. I happen to have a bear that is very similar to the elephant - in style. I will scan it in and upload it later today. Very cool that the name of the company (and your son's name) mean bear. It could all tie in together very nicely.

Hello David and Catherine,
here is a version with a teddy bear in the same style as the elephant. Let me know what you think.

Hi Dave!

Thanks again for your work!

Can I say that the bear is not "Beaaaaaar" enough? Maybe because of the colour... and we were looking for a bigger bear, a big and sweet bear we want to hug... but you're in the right direction and I still love your design... ;-)

Best regards,

Cath.

Hi you two - looks like I've been sliding down a bit. ...ouch...
I'm taking another shot at it. Here's the elephant without the "shivering lines".

Here's a completely different more modern approach.

... and another more "scenic" approach. Any feedback on these would be great.

Hi Dave!

Thank you so much for your creative work... I would prefer the #143 than the #144 (too peace and love for us ;-))... Much modern and very classy... I like the font and the colors you choose.

Once the contest ended, we will ask our friends and potential clients what logo they prefer. This way,it will be easier for us to choose and not be overwhelmed by our emotional preferences ( if you know what i mean :-))
Best regards,

Cath.

Thank you Catherine - I have to tell you that you and David are the perfect contest holders! I love the fact that you give lots of feedback and are really "into" your competition.

Are there any changes you'd like to see? If so, let me know so that I can get them in before the end of the competition.

oh and... I know exactly what you mean ;-)

Hi Dave,

Thank you so much for your last design, the birds are very cute and funny. Thanks also for the compliment. We tried our best to provide as much feedback as possible, but it got a little overwhelming in the end, and with me busy at work at Catherine busy with our son, we haven't been as diligent with feedback as we would have liked to.

Like Catherine said, we're going to have one more poll, just to be sure we pick the design that our market best reponds to, and we will pick the winner as soon as possible.

I also just wanted to return the compliment and say it has been a true pleasure working with you. Thanks so much for your hard work and positive attitude !

Auf Wiedersehen! :) (Believe it or not, I actually have a german "Reisepass" as my mom is German, but I was born in france and have at most 50 words to my German vocabulary).

Kind Regards,

-David

Good Morning you two-
what a surprise this morning when I saw that you had ended the contest early. I wanted to get one more version of the birds on a wire in before it ended. I wanted to do them in the same style as the elephant. You know, have a couple of cute, kind of hairy birds. Oh well.

again... it was a lot of fun working on this with you two. Thanks for all the great feedback. Whichever design you go with, I'm sure it will be great. There are a lot of great entries here.

The best of luck to you
