So far the one closest to our needs are:
#6 #7 nice beginning but they are very similar to a radio station (on a black background would you add a white outline?)
#13 #14 #15 it looks like an american old car number plate but it could be a good idea (but can you do a version where "61" is dominant? Check the pdf in the brief) maybe a big 61 with "area" written within the number 1?
#16 #17 it't not self consistent,on a black background we'd have to change "area" into white and we don't want that (that was the first point of the .pdf in the brief).

#35 nice but too complicated

The ones better ranked met more criteria according to the brief.
It doesn't mean that that's the only idea.
I still wait for "the one".

#6 #7 #13 #14 #15 are visible and readable even very small.
They still miss that uniqueness.

#86 #87 this is a bit different, good. But it's not easy for embroidery

Hint for everyone: the "rounded" version (where the "61" is much bigger than "area") may be used and Rally Car racing number of the door of the car or as racing number on a superbike or motocross.
Try, for example, (but not limited to) to include "area" inside the number 1 of "61".
Thanks

GO WILD! If an idea is good, then it's worth breaking some rules.

#99 izmild, considering that the design will be Italian, try an make the circle inside the 6 in green?
Anybody can try to ad the green but if you use the italian flag colors (green, white, red) must be very subdued (not in your face)

Imagine the logo all along a pick-up truck (long version of the logo) and then the same logo (short-round version with 61 big) in front on the bonnet.

#86 #87 the still is different and cool but it's not very readable when small and it's difficult to reproduce with embroidery

#6 is still much more "readable" than #136 when the logo is small. But #136 is more modern.
I like the "classic" look of #6 that recalls american football t-shirts or classic car racing but #136 is also nice for modern sports (Skateboard, snowboard, etc.)
I wonder if it's possible to marry the two concepts together...

Imagine the logo on motocross/snowboard googles: it must be long and bold on the rubber band (e.g. http://www.dirtbikebitz.com/images/products/goggles/thor/2009_Thor_Motocross_Ally_Goggles_White_Gold.jpg)

but on shades must be small and round (but visible) on the side: http://www.sunglasses-shop.co.uk/glasses/oakleywoman/enlarge/03511.jpg

PLEASE KEEP THESE TWO EXEMPLES IN MIND when drawing the two versions of the logo.

#157 nice but not flexible to use
#155 "area" not readable when small. What's the "long version" of it?

#237 I like the star but not with 6 points. Also, the number 61 font is not "unique". Must be bold
