Appartement ParisienLogo Design Contest

We are a German company that acts as a broker for apartments in Paris that are made available to German university students who seek to study in Paris.

In terms of colors I am thinking of black plus one or two colors (red, yellow, green, orange). The reason I checked "Web 2.0" is that I like the idea of color transitions and shadows. Overall the logo should not be too solid.

The logo should somehow show parisien lifestyle (e.g. somehow use the eiffel tower). It should be hip (since it's for students), show excitement and adventure (of going abroad), and should at the same time give the confidence that we are a serious and dependable real estate company.
Logos I find quite intriguing are the logo of "comedy central" since it's hip and could be about real estate and the logo of the "Euro 2008" since it makes great use of two colors plus black and appears not to be too solid.
