Hi Glendon,

The solid image of the hand conveys too much of a message of "stop" to me. Perhaps a direct palmar view of the human hand will send that message no mater how much one tries to soften it. I wonder if a line drawing of the hand rotated and slightly closed on a paw, as though they were holding hands, would better convey a message of guardianship and empathy for the companion animals that we provide healthcare for and who cannot speak directly to us? Also, we can probably leave out the "of" and ",Inc".

I like the "welcome" feeling that the open hand brings. I think it would be better as a line drawing and I've added some color. Please see my line drawing I've uploaded. Could this be done with a full hand holding a paw?

Hello mlelli

Do you own rights to the attached illustration?

Thanks :D

Hi Nancy. Yes, I own exclusive rights to the line drawing. We use it on our handouts at this point in time but it's hard to distinguish what it is from a distance.

Very nice Melinda. Would it be possible to reduce the size of the dog and cat paws slightly? Also, could the line that circles the top become the printed name, Animal Clinic...etc beginning after the fingers and then turn back into the line before it reaches the wrist area as an option?

Malinda, could the black line morph into just black letters then back to a black line? And is it possible to shrink the size of the paws slightly relative to the hand. Also, I like the idea of some type of "ray of light" filling the dead space inside the top portion of the circle. Or a small version of the veterinary symbol?
