#12 Hey CH - here is something for you to think about. I wasn't sure if you wanted the ATE as your whole logo - when I was trying to design around that I kept thinking about Ate (like I already ate)?? Anyway, just an idea - I will try to submit some more tonight. Thanks!
1. Please change the background to white. No logos on colored backgrounds. 2. Please move the line to the right and make it shorter. So it begins at left bottom of the "A" and ends/aligns under far right side of "T" 3. Then justify the words "American Trust" under the line 4. Then justify "Escrow" under "American Trust"
Yes, we are aware of the ATE tie to eating but they say "ATE" to abbreviate a lot in their day-to-day business. HOWEVER, your AT looks good also, so it's alright to keep it in this case. Maybe do a second version with ATE, it's up to you. _HH
Thanks for your feedback - I guess our wires got crossed while I was designing another one. Next time you log on I will hopefully have more to show you. Thanks for clearing up the "ATE" for me - I will try some designs with that also. Cheers!
On 20, add an E, delete the line, put the revised symbol inside a solid box and then justify the name underneath the box. Please justify the word escrow too. Don't worry, we like it that way.
On 17, the red (which I've just eliminated as a color option in contest brief) makes the e pop out so that it kinda reads "aet" instead of "ate"
On 31, the outlined type looks just like the "American Express" logo
20: 1. please add an "E" into this design, and enlarge the company name proportionately. 2. please lessen the vertical height of the symbol by about 15%. 3. please show me one without the horizontal rule.
639: • please move the "TE" over to the left a little, closer to the "A" • please choose a more subtle sans serif font for the company name. The client is going in an understated elegant direction and your symbol makes enough of a statement. Maybe something like Gill Sans medium or Gill Sans light or Sans light or Sans regular. Don't use Futura because it has more of a vertical feel than the two I just mentioned, and you already have an extremely vertical symbol already. • please move the company name down away from the symbol -- about an 1/8" or 1/16" • please lighten the color so the ATE is softened by a lighter shade. Not a bright blue, maybe try a gray blue...
