Our Ideas & Additional Information
We take a multidisciplinary approach to helping individuals. The different disciplines (psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, psychiatry, etc.) work together to help individuals reach their potential. The word "Alliance" was selected to show that we work as a team.
In general, here are some things I am looking for:
1) Logos that capture the meaning of an alliance or teamwork!
3) In general logos I like have the following common themes: curves, clean looking, and simple.

I attached a drawing of some of my ideas, but at this point I really want other interpretations. Unless you are inspired by one of my drawings.

# 3 atchung (ranked 1st)- first, thank you for the entries. I would like the font to look less italicized. I would like the tree to be a full shape without individual leaves and branches. I would also like the tree to be shorter too. If you look at my pdf file, the bottom left logo I drew is my favorite. You can see the tree is a large free form without detail in the center. I like how the "L's" in alliance are in front of the tree in my drawing. One more point about the tree, I would like there to be several (3 or more) roots. Part of my reason for using a tree is that the roots symbolize the different disciplines. The word "pediatrics" is too large, I like the size of "pediatrics" in your entry #1. The gray color seems ok, but for the "alliance" how about a color like chartreuse? Maybe this color will give it a little more pop. I do like how it is simple and clean.

#1 atchung (ranked 2nd) - again, thanks for coming up with an original concept! The tree inside the "A" is creative. However, all of the comments I made about the tree above (free form, no detailed branches, roots, etc.) also apply here. Color: I do like blue and green colors, but for some reason I don't like that color teal. From what I can see, I do think the color of the "pediatrics" is nice. Again, I would like the font to look less italicized. I do like how the "alliance" is a somewhat curvy font. I like how the dot in the "i" is a different color, again original, but I am not crazy about the orange. I like that this is simple, curvy, clean, and I like that the size of the word "pediatrics" in comparison to the word "alliance."

#2 by atchung (ranked 3rd): Some of the same comments I made for the first logo can be also applied to this one. The only other things I would mention is that the aqua color is a little too bright. Also I don't like the gray bar at the bottom of the logo.

#6 I really like the gray curved line under the word alliance. I also like the ratio of the word “pediatrics” in comparison to the word “alliance.” I also like how the tree is full and the “l’s” are in front of the tree. I also like how the tree outline is darker than the center of the tree. I like the font color of both words out of all of the entries so far. But I am still not 100% sure on the green color of the word alliance.
Suggestions:
Font: Could you use a different font in the word “alliance” – maybe one that is a little more curvier? Also, maybe try another font color in the green family?
Tree: Could you make the outline less “bubbly” – maybe make it have more contors, kind of like the edges of puzzle pieces (if I am not explaining this well, just let me know). I really like the “branches” at the top of the trunk, I thnk they compliment the curvy line at the bottom of the logo. I also like how the gradient color inside the tree, however, I prefer the gradient coloring you used in your entry #4. I do like how the tree trunk is also gradient, because I am concerned that the tree will not “tie” in the word and it will look like “all” and “ance” anything we can do to keep this word looking like one word “alliance” the better. I think the roots need to look a little more defined, but not really sure how to give feedback on those. Maybe a little longer (closer to the roots in your entry #7).

#4 Again, I like the look of this, it is similar to your #6 entry. Some of the same comments apply from #6.
Font: I like the color you used for the trunk and the word pediatrics. The color used for the word alliance is too bright for me.
Suggestions:
Tree: Same comments above, I do like the gradient coloring used in the tree. I do like the root idea, how it kind of underlines the word alliance and leads to the word pediatrics, however if a tree is going to be used, I think I would want more than two roots.

#1 I am keeping this ranking as 3rd because it is the most original concept so far. I would REALLY like some original ideas that have to do with the word “collaboration” or “teamwork.” For example, last night I was thinking of somehow incorporating hands into the logo instead of a tree to symbolize working together. Not sure, but all original concepts are greatly appreciated because I am not sold on using the tree yet.

Thanks so much for your entries!!

#10 Thanks for your entries wwwrdndrccom! It was nice to see more entries. I like that you used different fonts than the ones I used in my examples. I also really like how the “dot” over the “I” is an object. When I first logged in I thought the object was a tree top. But as I looked closer, I think it is a butterfly. Which I like because it is an imaginative idea.
Suggestions:

Butterfly on top of the “i”: Again, I like the original idea! My only concern is that the butterfly doesn’t represent teamwork or collaboration, which is a concept what I was hoping the logo would encompass. Even though I do want original ideas, since the only one I have that represents growth through collaboration is the tree with roots, maybe you could change the butterfly to a tree top, but keep it the same size as use the same delicate outline.

Font: The font is very pretty. But it may appear too feminine or fancy for my use. Maybe the “A” could be a little more simple. I like that the pediatrics is smaller, but maybe a tad bit smaller font, like the P would start under the “i” in alliance. Also, the black in “pediatrics” is such a big contrast to the lighter colors. I think using a gray for the word “pediatrics” might fit better. Also, I like the font color you used for the word “alliance” in #8 the most. I really like the font of the word “pediatrics” on #9 and I also really like the color gray and the brown color used in the line. So maybe you could use the green color in #8 and the brown and gray color you used in #9. Maybe you could change the font color of the “alliance” from the blue to the font color used in # 8. Then you could make the tree top any color (brown from #9, gray from #9, or another blue) whatever you think looks good. I also like the font you used in #8. One thing I would change is the “A.” Again, maybe it needs to be more simple.

Line: I like the curved line and the gradient colors. Could you make the line a little thinner. Compared to the delicate lines of the fonts, it looks a little too thick.

Thanks again!

#14 through #22 Thank you for trying to modify the logo. Feel free only to submit one to three different color coordinators of the same logo because I can quickly tell if the logo itself is going to work. The feedback I leave for #14 will apply to all of the other logos (except the color):

Font: I would like a different font still. Maybe take the curvy loop out of the vertical line that crosses the A. I do like the brown color and the gray color.

Tree: I would like a different tree top design. I am leaning more and more towards not even using a tree.

I attached a comment directly to #8. Please see that comment and see if you could create one logo that incorporates my recommendations.

Thanks.

Thanks for the modifications.

For future entries, could you not use the tree anymore. I am leaning towards not using logos that have the tree as the "i." Maybe some other symbol that represents teamwork (like two grasped hands or something). Thanks!
