Adventures by the BookLogo Design Contest

Attention designers: Thank you for considering designing for Adventures by the Book. Just to reiterate, I am looking for a logo that depicts a hot air balloon with a basket shaped like a book. However, if you have an idea that you think is better than the hot air balloon, I am open to suggestions for different designs.

To all designers: While I expressed my vision of a logo being a hot air balloon with a book as the basket, I am certainly open to other designs that you think represent the idea of adventurous opportunities with books. I really like the feel of #1, as I believe it is fun and adventurous and colorful - the only thing that hampers it is that it doesn't perfectly fit the nature of my events - we do not really do animal like events or safaris and that may be the image it conveys. I'd like to see something along the feel of #1 but conveying more the types of events I put together. Yes, nalapraja, the events i do are mostly cultural in nature - for example, we may travel to visit europe and meet the people and understand the culture that has been written about in an author's book. We may eat in local restaurants where we learn the culture of an ethnic food and try to better under the people that the author writes about in their book. Or we may go away for a weekend to a location that is inspired or helps us learn more about what an author has to say in their book. Hope that helps. It is more a cultural experience (food, wine, people, history, geography, etc.)

Attention Designers: I am very grateful for all your design entries and your creativity. I am wondering if perhaps we might have some design entries that focus more on the book itself. Perhaps a book, open or closed, that incorporates the name of my company as the emphasis, Adventures by the Book, in a beautiful script font as the title of the book, and does not have any accompanying images like hot air balloons. Since I want to focus on the Adventures part of my business, perhaps that word and the "A" in it could be larger or more emphasized. Thank you and I hope to see some of those entries submitted.
