Greetings!
Thanks for this terrific start. We want to include our tag line in most uses of our logo, so we would like to see the tag line with # 3 centered underneath our org title. Also, could you make the "half" puzzle piece dark blue? We also prefer the san serif font of #6 and #3.

On #6, would you mind developing a way to emphasize AKA in our logo ... perhaps by putting the letters AKA in dark blue and the remainder of each word in smaller caps and teal color? I'd also be interested to see this same logo in another version that has the tag line stretching across the entire width underneath the graphic and the name of the organization. (I'm trying to think of situations where the logo needs to appear small which would then make this current tag line scale unreadable). Thanks!

I'm also wondering on #3 if you could provide an alternative version where there are 3 puzzle pieces that form a 3-dimensional pyramid of sorts rather than the current four piece graphic (still with piece number three being the same peeled back different piece).

Hi there, thanks for great feedback, much appreciated. I will make the changes you say above, and will also try some alternatives and will upload again later :)

Thanks so much for all the adaptations. We are in agreement that #14 is our pick for now. We are curious if you can make the graphic into a visibly 3-sided object (even if the 3rd side is only slightly showing)? Also, we would like to see the tag line in all lower case with a dot (rather than period) between wisdom and lifelong.

We all feel that #3 is a strong contender as well. Could you place the tag line underneath with the same treatment as #14? Also, can you turn the graphic into a 3-sided puzzle piece graphic with the 3rd piece having the same treatment as the light green "half" piece?

That's it for now. Thanks so much!

We are having so much fun talking through your designs. Thank you for every adaptation. We like the pyramid/puzzle options a great deal. We like the organic green colors of 20-22. We are torn between the "falling into place" piece of #21 and the "already connected" piece of the others.

We prefer the basic layout of #27 ... only with the tag line slightly larger to measure the exact width of the graphic on the left to the last letter on the right. Could you produce the same layout only using the color scheme of #20 as one option? Then, another option same layout but dropping in the graphic of #21 ... both as it is now AND another version where the "open" piece is flipped so the "open" piece appears on the right?

One last comment if you care to work with it ... I'm still intriqued with the soft, organic edges of your graphic in #14, yet I would like to see the hint of a third side ...
Thanks for everything.

#28 Do you mind reversing the colors between the AKA and spelled out words. At a glance I think the AKA drops out visually ... perhaps even making the teal a shade darker/stronger?

Hello again,

We are all leaning heavily toward your designs ... #28 and #21. I don't know how we'll eventually choose between the "open" door concept and the solid interlocking pyramid. For now, I wonder if you'd care to play with the interlocking pyramid concept another round?

Because the pyramid is sort of the shape of an "A", what if that shape stood in for the letter A? What if ADOPTION were the largest point size word with the symbol A shaped puzzle being at least two lines tall with Knowledge Affiliates smaller underneath and to the right? I don't know if this could work ... but if you are willing to play around with it, I am curious what the results might be. Thanks! By the way, when a shadow to the shape is worked in, I tend to like that.

Hi Ray,

Everyone on our committee is drawn to your #47, while I still gravitate to the movement of your #21. Would you mind spending some time with #21 today? I am curious what you could come up with taking those same three puzzle pieces and placing them within a golden yellow square for instance in the current layout.

Another idea to make the layout more vertical ... what if the bright warm-colored shape were the puzzle pieces within a circle with the bottom flatten out to sit above the words with our tag line circling the border of the circle? This may not work at all ... I'm just interested in further development of this design.

I'd like to see if it then adds further to the idea of opening a door, seeking light/knowledge. What do you think?

Thanks for your efforts here ... but these are not nearly as strong as your other designs ... We'll stick with the original layout.

#78 ... thanks for this attempt. The scale seems off ... perhaps if the left puzzle opened from the middle to reveal golden color inside, perhaps if this sat on top of
ADOPTION
KNOWLEDGE
AFFILIATES

stacked? I believe your other designs are stronger. Thanks so much.

Good afternoon Ray,

It is now unanimous. We will be choosing one of your designs! Would you make several more tweaks as we arrive at our final choice?
First, we would like the three lines of our text name to be justified with slight point size adjustment like entry #75.
Next, we'd like to see the tag line in a very legible script like Rage upper lower case with a colored triangle pointing to the right separating the two phrases. We'd also like more space between the overall graphic and the tag line.

With the above changes, we'd then like two versions of #47, one with the flat color like it is now and one more with each puzzle piece as a gradient (like #22).
Then we'd like to see both flat and gradient in color scheme of #22.

We continue to really like the idea of the "opening" puzzle, but do not feel that the design is quite strong enough. If you wish to continue other arrangements, we would welcome that! We'll look for these updates then select our final.

Thanks for everything!

Hi again,
Ray, neither design you uploaded as a script font for our tag line ... or more space between the tag line and the graphic as requested. Also, now that there is a gradient on #85, I don't care for how the bottom puzzle piece turns white where it connects to the green piece above. Would you mind switching to the pyramid of #22 ... only in the colors you have for 85/85? One last thing (I think) ... would you add some leading between ADOPTION KNOWLEDGE AND AFFILIATES (similar to #61)?

Hi Ray,

I'm a bit confused ... I have a new email saying new designs were uploaded, but I see nothing in the basket. Still don't show anything with a script tag line or any changes from my last post. Thanks.

Thanks Ray. Use the tag line font of #87.
Only change from previous message that did not get done ...

"I don't care for how the bottom puzzle piece turns white where it connects up to the green piece above. Would you mind switching to the pyramid of #22 (with bolder white lines separating the pieces like #85).

I think I've been confusing on colors. Would you leave the text just as it is. However, on the pyramid so that we tie in the dark blue of the AKA, let's try that same dark blue as the bottom/base puzzle. Then the left piece would remain the same teal blue, but could we then see the right piece in the golden color?

Okay, I promise we are nearly there. Thanks for hanging in with all the last changes!
Best,
Kathryn

Hi Kathryn, i just uploaded #93, using the pyramid from #22 with a slightly wider band of white, also changing the colours of the pyramid as per request. If we need any more changes, that's fine, just let me know, thank you

Good Morning Ray,

1. Yes, that's the pyramid we like the most.
2. Yes, thanks for the wider band of white.
3. I miscommunicated on color. We don't want to change to a new "gold" color, we want to use your original lighter color in #86, only now use it as the right-side piece.
4. Please reduce the point size slightly of KNOWLEDGE so that the kerning between the letters is similar to the other words, still justified.
5. On the tag line ... would you look at the spacing of that too? Needs to start even with the pyramid's left side, perhaps be a point size larger so there is not so much space on either side of the triangle in the center ... also make the amount of space on either side of the triangle be equal.
6. After all those changes, could we see that tag line in the font of #93, but also the font of #91?
THANK YOU!

..on entry #110 i tried to get another script font which is similar to the one you said, also on that entry i have kerned the letters further apart on the 'Knowledge' word, more so than on entry #109. Let me know of further changes Kathryn, thanks again :)

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the tweaks!
YES to the current pyramid pieces. Yes to the gradient use. Yes to the tag line of #110.

1. I misguided you on the kerning/point size of the words. Please look at #61 and imitate the wider kerning of ADOPTION followed by the same font size but tighter kerning of KNOWLEDGE then back to wider kerning, same font size of AFFILIATES ... all in the font YOU have always used.

2. What is still not what we want is the bottom puzzle piece on the pyramid. Please make it the darker blue of the AKA lettering.

3. Then provide one more color option with darker blue as bottom piece, green as left piece and teal as right piece.

So, so close ... promise!

Ray,

Sorry for so much back and forth. Look at #61 again. See how the leading between the lines is? See how the letters AKA stack in alignment over each other? See how the scale of all the words is in proportion to the size of the graphic? THAT'S what we are going for.

Then, we just lack this from above message:
3. Then provide one more color option with darker blue as bottom piece, green as left piece and teal as right piece.

That's it. Thanks.

Hi Kathryn, i just uploaded #113 & #114 with the text altered close to the design you point to. I realize now mine wont look too similar because of the font used, but i think i might be getting there now :)
