Client
#6 Thanks for using other colors besides green & blue! Would also like to see designs w/a path or road, or a compass.

Logo Designer
You're welcome! The path is dividing the book center, but it is more of a horizon point than curvy. I can do other versions.

Client
Thank you for explaining the design to me. I saw it as a student holding open a book. Would love to see additional versions please. Could you also please incorporate the slogan, "Guiding you in the journey to find your best fit in higher education" ?

Logo Designer
Sure! It's a really long slogan so I don't recommend trying to make it part of the actual logo, but I'll show you what they look like together.

Client
Thank you. #9 is striking! Thx for adding in the orange tone. I appreciate the advice regarding the slogan.

You're welcome. Slogans usually are not part of a logo anyway, but most contest holders wnat to see what they look like togehter.

#24 I like the change! If someone were to ask me what the graphic represents (other than the curve which I know implies the journey), how would you describe it? I like that you used 4 colors-thank you-but will probably want different ones.

Thank you!

Student holding book with path leading through the book to the sunburst (light, knowledge) inside-behind-surrounding student's head.

Thank you for your explanation.

No problem. I'm trying to keep it from being too cluttered and clunky looking but still stay a lot.

#24 Could you make the overall logo a bit larger? Also, could you try some different color combinations? Thank you!

Client
#64 Very nice! Thank you for the changes.

#64 Could I see this in larger font size?
#23 Could you change this using the colors from #64?

Thank you!

Sure, will be able to do a bit later tonight.

It's kind of hard to enlarge the font size with the LT submission format here, but #67 shows the alternate colors and also is a bit larger.

#6 Would like to see these ideas incorporated:
--curved path, rather than straight
--color scheme used in #64 and #67
--two options: one with the artwork to the left of the business name; the other with the artwork above the business name (like #64 and #67)
--make the "college consulting" the same gray color as #64 and #67

Thanks so much!

Do you know that during the judging phase of the contest, only the person in first rank can submit revisions? You may want to see about reverting back to Top 5 if you want more options.

Client
Yes. I was just about to move yours into the #1 spot and then send you a message so that you could submit revisions. Very aware of the judging phase policy.

Okay, a lot of CHs aren't so I thought you might not realize it. Would you like different fonts or colors? I probably don't have any new ideas for the icon without messing up a clean design, but I can do other fonts. If you have any fonts you like and know the names, just let me know, or tell me the kind of style.

Client
No worries. I read and re-read to be sure I understood each phase so I would handle things correctly.

Icon is great-please keep that. Still trying to determine which layout I prefer #67 or #64. I like the larger scale of #67. Trying to visualize this on a website as well as business cards.

Additional color combos would be helpful. Font type change? Possibly.

Your designs have been in the top 2-3 of the advisory panel (comprised of teens and target market parents).

Thank you so much!

Good to know. Don't worry too much about layout because anyone who wins can provide you with both vertical and horizontal versions if their design permits it and isn't limited to horizontal or vertical. In other words, if I win, you can have both #67 and #64 because you will probably use both. Horizontal for website, centered above for t-shirts, etc.

#102 Thanks for providing another option of font/colors.

I prefer the font type on #67. Is the font the same on #67 and #64?

Colors for #102 do not work for me. Maybe a more vibrant, but cool, red and a brighter blue please.

Thanks!

Client
One more thing: for the new color combo of vibrant red and bright blue, the sun rays could be yellow.

Logo Designer
Yes, the fonts are exactly the same on those two. Here is a more berry blue and cherry red.

Good morning,
OK, I woke up with an idea. #75 changing to green/blue/black; Black grad cap and college consulting lettering; green & blue for the other icon elements plus Admissions Journey lettering.

The green and blue: mid tone; fresh colors

I will move #75 into first place for you to be able to submit revisions.

Thank you!

#128 and #129 I made the changes and swapped out the colors, and when I did changed the blues and greens a bit for comparison.

Client
Thank you!

Of the two, I favor #128, although I like the green in #129.

Very fresh!
