AcroNOC, Inc.Logo Design Contest

Great entries so far, we will have to sit down as the group and start to go over them together before we start marking them off and adding comments. This will happen shortly...

We are not dead set on red, white and blue although it is a preference. But maybe looking at our site design and site colors will aid in logo ideas and creativity. We would like the logo to work with the site of course and flow with it all.

Keep the entries coming. Please do not submit entries made from clip art or logo-generators (ie. logoworks). We really want a logo that would match our site. A winning entry would need to be shaped/sized to work with the layout we have. Please take a look at our site acronoc.com and see how it looks first as the layout will not be changed much to fit the logo.

So far, we like the originality of #18 and #19. We are definitely looking for something original. With those particular designs, however, the general consensus amongst the partners would be to have the graphic on the left of the Name or part of the name. This will make it easier for us to integrate the logo with our website and the printed materials we will be using.

We would also like to see more ideas on conveying communications/connectivity, support and stability. Mostly we want something that is out-of-the-box thinking. Something that really grabs the attention of the viewer and causes them to want to know more about our company and how we can help them with their needs.

We also like #17 but again had issues with the placement. There were also some reservations regarding the color and a general wish to see it evolve a bit.

#10 also caught our eye, however, we don't feel it looks original and also has some placement issues. With this design we felt the pictograph definitely would be better as a part of the Name (as in place of the A) rather than a separate image. We also had a general wish to see this one develop further so as to appear more original.

Some of us also like the pictograph used in #7, #8 and #9. We did not care for the superscript 'inc.'. Not all of us like the pictograph but felt that there was some potential with it.

Any feedbacks or ranks update?

A number of comments have been left on the individual designs that we felt had the most promise. Please continue to work on your ideas. Please note the comments regarding placement issues.

All of the designs that have not been discarded have a lot of potential. Keep the ideas coming. Although we have an initial ranking the number of votes for each design is pretty split up. Please note that the graphics should be to the left or right of the text to fit best on our website.

We will be doing a new round of ranking and comments at about midnight CDT. Starting out the new month of July with new rankings. Keep working on the designs guys. We have some favorites but there are still four days left.

We have sorted the entries some. We have not made a final decision. To simplify the rankings we have only chosen one of the similar designs from each designer. So if a design wasn't ranked it doesn't mean we didn't like it. We only chose the best current pick of the design. Our preferences may change. The ranked designs all have a considerable amount of potential. Specific comments will be left for individual designers.

We have rearranged the rankings, however there is quite a bit of disagreement currently so if your rank changed it doesn't mean we didn't like your design. Some designs were completely ruled out. The unranked designs are still fluid as we are having internal discussion about which designs from particular designers we like.

We have done some re-ranking on the designs and are considering extending the contest. We are currently deciding on the final voting criteria.

Due to the July 4th holiday we are extending the contest. We wish to give everyone ample feedback and time to change designs. As many people have obligations during this holiday in the US we are extending the contest.
