Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - Strength and dependability
#2 - Artisan - modern yet backed by traditional values
#3 - Personal character that can be trusted and aspired to
Our Target Audience:
International, all ages depending on each film being released, we are mostly seeking to provide a logo that presents us as an organisation of professional artisans with a strong traditional sense of purpose and style. Many of the films we plan will be family films but we will also produce more mature content.
Color Preferences
A deep burgundy red is the colour we have until now mostly associated with Acajou Films
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
We are very open to suggestions as we want it to be cool and it will need to transfer to the big screen.
As we are Artisans ourselves we value and appreciate creativity and design and look forward to seeing what ideas you may have.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Hi everyone, We do not wish to reference the Acajou tree (cashew) in our design, the company is about cinema and movies for cinema. Let your hair down a bit we are looking for something cool and fresh! Cheers Acajou
Hello everyone, I have not ranked anything yet as I do not wish to give anyone the idea that any are favorite yet, I will do so once we have a few more entries and it is starting to take shape. Thanks Geoff
Hello again, The producer has agreed that we need to widen the brief, he appreciates that we do not want to be restrictive. so as I have said do let your hair down. We appreciate the effort that you all put into these contests and promise that we will respond to you quickly. Thank you from Acajou
3 days to go, and many entries! One of the comments made by the producer was that he felt most of the entries were feminine! I had not seen that but I guess he is right, I wonder if you agree and whether you have a an answer?
We have extended the contest two days only, as a few designers have been away!
Some of you have given us some great work, the response has been amazing! Over 350 entries so far!
But we feel there is a COOL concept yet to come. Please remember the image will need to translate to the big screen and ultimately progress to movement. As well as look great on our cards and letterheads!
I know they are away because they told me in their correspondence through the contest. They have made contributions and yes they contributed to my first contest. Everyone has a fair chance to win, and no a winning design has not been presented yet.
When I find one that has promise I communicate through the messages and try to provide feedback where I can. It is helpful when designers provide explanations of what they are submitting too.
Anyway, I think this site is great, I never knew I would have to work so hard on my end but it is worth it (which is why I am back). I have only subscribed to one previous contest, it gave us what we needed and it was not someone I knew!
sorry i used a instead of o in every logo. I must have update this but the time was passed when i realized. I will incorporate this mistake once the design concept gets approved.
Wow, thank you so much everyone, We have been overwhelmed by the response, with so many contributions it is going to take us a few days in order to consider our top favorites and finalize our selections! Again thank you, Wishing each of you the best of luck and look forward to letting you know the outcome! Geoff
