Our Ideas & Additional Information
We need a new Logo!
We are an AM/FM simulcast radio station in a small market. Our format is Adult Standards, We play the most popular songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s, aimed at the upper end of the Baby Boomer generation. . Target audience is 35-64
The logo we have used for years and years is
WRJC logo.jpg
It is on all of our letterhead, business cards, banners, website, etc. etc. Only over the past couple years have we altered/updated it for staff wearables, basically an outlined, or sometimes two-color version of our regular logo, our embroiderer came up with. The only art I have to share on that look is from the embroiderer and is
WRJC OL.pdf
Like I said, we are in a small market, so while I personally may be alright with a significant change, I am cautious whether or not to do that and risk alienating some of my audience. I came up with the following rough idea
Incorporating our outlined logo (subdued) within a new logo. That is as creative as I can get. While I came up with that, it might work for me if it was cleaned up, or I am certain there might be something better, or even perfect out there that someone can come up with for me.
I was thinking of two colors plus black and white for the main logo, if a design warrants additional colors are fine. I will also want a one-color or black & white version for certain simpler uses.
