EFRC:CSTLogo Design Contest

Like: Color scheme; the navy plays well off of the orange. like choice of text as well. very strong.
Also like the solar cell imagery in the sun! At first we didn't realize that this was meant to represent a solar cell..it might be more apparent if the color is more indigo.

Not sure about the +/- being used as a colon. It seems to indicate that the logo can be read as "EFRC plus or minus CST." Maybe the +/- could fit inside one of the "C's"...or placed to the right of the text. Or they could even be contained within the solar cell mark, since charge separation occurs after the sunlight hits the solar cell.

Can the solar panel be made a little more uniform in color? The "white patch" overlay at the top right of it is a little distracting.

Looks great! Can we start to see some variations of this theme? For example, sun mark placed before or after the text.
