Our Ideas & Additional Information
I want to create a brand built around the owner's name involved: Burt's Bees, Tom's of Maine, Tader Joe's. While I don't want to stray too far from appealing to my target audience (as listed above), I do strive to inject some creativity and levity without being too over the top. All those companies have a green, organic, natural, and unique brand feel to them. That's what I'm going for.

Below, I have listed some links to sites that have some broad themes I like: old timey/throwback feel, the idea of the owner being caricatured/cartoonized, hidden/clever icons, plays on images associated with my business (the images that come to mind are bulbs, bulbs with roots, daffodils, tulips, etc.), or plays on letters in the name.

Also, the company has a very strong commitment to sustainability and an emphasis on being completely green.

I'm not looking to copy the logos at the links below, and none really jump out at me specifically. I've used Logo Tournament before and know how creative the designers on here can be. I will provide as much feedback as you need, and I am always open to your questions, suggestions, and comments. Also, I would like to work with the winning artists to develop other future items on brand.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I'm open to some with a bit more humor or lighter, playful takes without going too far. I don't want to sacrifice all seriousness, but I would be interested in seeing a bit more that convey fun/wit.

Thanks for everything so far.

I like the direction these are going. My one comment after seeing these would be to see some with the bulbs in bloom. One of the more popular items will be paperwhites which look similar to this:

Forgive me for not being as diligent in the comments here. After seeing all your great work, I have some more feedback for the direction of this. I would like to see your ideas in incorporating an open shipping box with the bulb possibly planted or the paperwhite growing out of it? Since this is an e-business based on shipping the product direct to the customer, I think that could be a direction that would make more sense. As always, I am open to your input as well.

Thanks.

@Byte I am accepting new entries, I don't think it would be wise to turn anything away. I am happy with the direction these latest ones are going.
