Odborový svaz ZAZLogo Design Contest

The name of our organization means "Trade union" in the English language (= in the Czech language represented by the phrase "Odborový svaz") and capital letters "ZAZ" as Czech language acronym means "foreign and agency employees" translated to the English language (= in the Czech language the acronym "ZAZ" is created of the first letters in these words "Zahranicnich a Agenturnich Zamestnancu).
So in summary - we are not a regular business company subject oriented to make a profit, but primarily, as a trade union, we are the organization that defends interest and rights of the employees (our members). For a logo purposes will be used only our shortened organization name in the Czech language, ie "Odborový svaz ZAZ" instead of the full version of it.

red - as a traditional color related with labour, workers rights... (but cannot dominate due to negative context with communist history of our country)
black or grey - as a simple symbol of the official position of our organization
(darker) green - as a symbol of stability and hope

It is not necessary that the logotype will be super-cool & hypermodern. On the other hand we would like to be progressive and innovative in the ways to fulfill our mission (ie mobile app to communication with members, on-line platform for virtual arbitrar tribunal to dispute resolution between employees and employers...) and uncompromising in using of all legal possibilities to defend rights and interests of our members. So, the style of future logotype should represent mentioned vision.
