a bit too classic in the choice of typeface here although I like the simplicity of solution.
I suggest looking at some of the web 2.0 style logo's out there and see if you can create something that borrows from that style genre but is differentiated so that it is memorable and also communicates the values of the 30under30 programme which is intended to celebrate young innovators working in new teaching and learning practice. These people are blog, twitter, podcast, videogame literate and use and develop these tools in their teaching for example.
Definitely has some energy but too cartoon-like for my needs. A little like a closing down sale poster symbol as they stand currently although that's not to say that there's not something here - just early in the evolution perhaps?
