What We Do
Inspired by visual art and her experiences of sonder (the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own), Essence Nyrie, anxious to start playing her role in today’s social movements, created Sonder’s Essence, a progressive and inclusive ethical clothing brand.
The company’s mission is to spread messages that spark necessary conversations, through the use of poetic words and symbolism on wearable works of art. These works will be used to raise funds for charities that aim to spread similar messages and implement change. Most importantly, the mission of the company is to do all of this while considering every person who is involved in the manifestation of Essence’s vision, from the manufacturer to the customer.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:
-Please refer to the attached images to get a feel for the brand aesthetic and for logo examples/inspirations (green stars= my favorites)
-I would like it to be distinctive-- unique/inventive font, nothing too cutesy/curly please, modern but not overly simplistic or refined. I'd like elements that make it a bit off-kilter or organic.
-Both words (Sonder's and Essence) should be the same font size.
