As a second option, could you work on a design inspired by the 2nd image from the left at the top on the last image that is attached in my brief. It's an album cover that says "Flume & Chet Faker". The letters dont have to be in boxes, I just like the idea of letters creating the shape of a 3-D object and it still being legible.
