Hi there! Thanks so much for you entries! I have checked out your winning logo portfolio and there are a few things I saw that I really like. I'd like to move away from #21 and start fresh if that's ok with you?

Feel - Think Web 2.0 Tabloid News with an "edge"

Font - LOUD tabloid headline style.

colors - can you try different combos of the black, orange, pink and black on Buzzfeed.com ? I'm digging those. You can also try your own tabloid 2.0 color combos!

Also need the logo to incorporate an avatar, or have the design at least lend itself to one that is based on the logo.

Are #47, #52 and #53 exactly the same?

As you can see I really like your latest entries :-) even though this other designer basically copied your idea, I do prefer the font they used for daily surge in entry #66. Can I see the design concept for #47 but with the font used for both the words and avatar in different variations of more tabloid style fonts like #66?

Color combos - would love to see one where Daily is in buzzfeed orange and Surge is in buzzfeed pink and the avatar in the same pink.

Would also like to see different options where the avatar lettering is white and others where it's black. Maybe one that is blue lettering and pink box or orange lettering and pink box, let's try some fun stuff!

The different between that is, more tidy and proportional space #52, and add circle shape on every corner #53

Hey everyone! Please reference the contest brief for all the info you need.

Important! I need an avatar that is either incorporated into OR based off of the logo. Either is fine.

Also, I would really like to see logo examples based on the logos I've attached to the brief as reference examples. More specifically:

1. Rolling Stone and Teen logo (like those serif newsy fonts but with bold outlines that make them look more tabloidy and pop)

2. BLESK - something clean, simple and bright. Really like the font on this one! Its like "The Sun" tabloid but way better font type

3. Danner - this is off the path from the others. REALLY like this! Would love to see options along this line

4. The Star and The Mail - maybe the word "Daily" in a serif font like these, and the word "Surge" in a way more modern, sans serif tabloid font

Looking forward to seeing your revisions and new ideas!

Instead of the current pink, can you please copy the pink and the orange from http://buzzfeed.com/politics

I think I'd like to see color combinations of pink/orange, pink/orange/black, pink/black, blue/orange (reference all colors from buzzfeed)

- Can I see a version of #120 but with the box from #47 instead of the circle?

I'd like to incorporate a few elements from #120, #47 and #130 into one logo...

- Use the layout from #130 - the avatar to the left, "Daily" on top and "Surge" on the bottom

- Use the avatar from #47 - the box with curved edges.

- One option with the font from #120

- One option with a font identical to what your competitor used in #111 - I like the shape of the g (minus the outline)

- One option with a font indentical to what your competition used in #80

Any other ideas you come up with!!!! Thank you soooo much!

I have #180 in first place because I like your design concept the best. However, can you please change the avatar to a square with rounded edges and make it pink instead of orange (like the avatar in #177)

ALSO - can you try a few with a "volt' going through the letters "ds" instead of the thin line connecting them?

One of your competing designers incorporated a volt into in the "R" in Entry # 228. I'd like to see this going through the avator in "ds"

Hi there! I like your entry #324 the best. I really like the font so you don't need to mess with that at all.

I'd just like to see different avatars to go with it, based on "ds" - I like what you have now but am curious to see what other clean, tasteful avatar ideas you can come up with :-)

That looks cool with the avatar in 2 colors. Can you do that with #324 somehow?
