Hi there! Thank you for your entry ! It's very nice but perhaps too sophisticated and modern.
I'd like to move away from #64 and start fresh if that's ok with you?
Feel - Think Web 2.0 Tabloid News with an "edge"
Font - LOUD tabloid headline style.
colors - can you try different combos of the black, orange, pink and black on Buzzfeed.com ? I'm digging those. You can also try your own tabloid 2.0 color combos!
Also need the logo to incorporate an avatar, or have the design at least lend itself to one that is based on the logo.
Thanks for your new entry! For Entry #88 - Can you please remove the "DS" completely, but use that really cool white then black outlines around the words DailySurge? I like that look. Also like the font you used! I'd like to see that in a few different color combos. thanks!
One other thing - can you try something that looks like the Danner logo I uploaded? Totally different from every other design and I really really like that font style. Thanks!
#104 - I asked earlier for the DS to be completely removed. I do like what you did to "DailySurge" though with the cool outline. Can you fill in the letter with some color in it? Thanks!!!
Thanks Franca! I like #111 the best. Can I see this with daily in pink and surge in orange? Please match the pink and orange from http://www.buzzfeed.com/politics
Also, let's see it all in one color.
Lastly, can you make the white and black outlines more like the Rolling Stones logo I uploaded as an example? The outlines of the RS logo are thicker adding more dimension and slightly angled.
Lastly, I would like to see versions where the layout looks more like The Daily Star logo I uploaded with the work daily small and the word surge more prominent. Use the style and font as instructed above just in this layout.
- One option with the word Daily smaller and above the word Surge and Surge bigger font size
- One option where you keep this font but make the words look a bit thicker?
For BOTH #111 and #122 I would like to see one option of each where there are no outlines, and they have a background box (kind of like the Daily ticket logo example I uploaded to the contest brief - except obv. not shaped like a ticket!)
Any other brand new design ideas you come up with in addition to all these is welcome as well! Thank you!
Last thing! Maybe Entry #235 would pop a bit more with a VERY slight dropshadow, like the guy did for Entry #214 - I just really want to see that font pop without looking distracting! Thanks again. Loving your designs
I am sorry but i can't take inspiration from #220 design volt because it is an Illumina's idea and if i take inspiration from another designer idea i have problems with logotournament. best regards, Franca.
