Is it possible to see this in a combination that is against a black background?

Thank you. This is GREAT on the black background! So far, this is still my favorite design.

I continue to love this design #17. Some thoughts, in case you were thinking of any tweaks or other ideas... I'm curious if the red color you have there can be darkened up to have a richer, more complex color, like the red in my current logo or the red in some of the others, where you see a gradient in the coloring? Right now, the red seems just a tad (barely) too bright lip-stick looking, as opposed to a fuller, deeper red. Does that make sense? I'm also curious, what this might look like with a horizontal line separating the 100% and The Terry Cloth? You don't have to do any of this, obviously. Just curious on some variations on what you have so far. Thank you

Thank you for these variations! I'm curious, which one do you, as a designer, find more appealing? I think I do like it with the LINE between the 100% and the "Terry Cloth." Not sure yet. I don't think I like the new version of red you used, however. It seems to make the overall logo dull or dirty. I much prefer your original red. This new one seems too muted. Was there no red that is more like my current logo with gradients in it and a bit richer? www.terencemichael.com

the red in your present logo is filled in a mass where on the edge it becomes darker if i aplly the same to new logo it becomes dark a looks dull because the centre does not radiate ithink this combination is fine

I've been starring at this for awhile now... and I'm not sure if you planned it this way; the last zero in "100" almost looks like a TV. And although I didn't originally want anything in the logo that was too corny or overly said that this company was in the TV business. I'm now wondering if that 2nd zero "should" look a bit like one? Only very subtly though, in a modern sense how is now? Maybe a bad idea. Just noticed how it almost begs for that.

Okay, so if I go with your design, I think you were right, it's your original design #17 that works the best. The only part I don't like is the shade of red you have there. If you look at the other reds in the logos that I have ranked, they all have a richer, fuller look to them. Yours appears to be flat and have too much orange in it, not enough blacks.

how about this

For some reason there's a huge disparity in your two reds. The original one, is nice and bright, but still too orange looking. And the other one you show is too grayish and dirty. I really feel like it needs to be that other red... something that is rich and complex, but just not too orange. Does that make sense? At least on my computer screen, your new red is the same as the other reds that were too grayish. I also prefer the brightness of the 100% you have in #17. It shines more.
