About

Born in the Cornhusker state of Nebraska, Rick Kneifl was raised in the small town of Newcastle about thirty miles west of Sioux City, Iowa.

Raised on a farm and loving everything outdoors, Rick also found himself drawn to the world of the arts. He would go on to receive his Bachelors degree in graphic design from Wayne State College in his home state before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to tackle a bigger market; including his interests in the performing arts and modeling.

Interested in any artistic endeavor, Rick found himself situated behind the lens of a camera. What started out as a mere hobby shooting photographs of friends and family, quickly escalated into a blossoming talent as a sought after photographer culminating in a business that would include professional portraits, brides and grooms, local events and landscapes as well as his penchant for shooting families and children.

Able to combine his proficiency in graphic design and his computer knowledge with a tasteful and keen eye, Ricks work brought him to an even bigger city to further expand his already growing business and his desire to tackle the performing arts.

Kneifl has spent the last couple years building an impressive portfolio and resume. He has been a hired photographer for actors, models and professionals while continuing to stay true to his roots, still shooting families, children and landscapes.

Living in North Hollywood, a thousand miles away from the farmlands he grew up around, Rick has continued to perfect his skills in both the artistic community as well as the performing arts. He was an acting semi-finalist in the World Championships of Performing Arts held in Los Angeles and has a recurring role on the successful web series, Huey, currently in production.

With a solid foundation and now focused behind the lens, Rick Kneifl is determined to capture it all.
