We are creating a web service that makes reading and working with SEC filings easier. The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) filings are financial report documents that the US public companies are obligated to file periodically and also on certain events. The 10-K form is one of the most important since it contains the yearly report. Still, there are many other forms like the 10-Q which is the quarterly report. The SEC filing reports are very long and complex documents. The purpose of our software is to facilitate the process of reading them and making it easier even for non-professional investors to understand the data.
