Salvaged Soles

At this point Salvaged Soles is simply an idea which has taken firm root in the minds of a small group of friends. We firmly believe our idea needs a face to present to the public that embodies our beliefs of community and charity. Everyday millions of people go hungry and cold and we just want to do our small part to bring joy to the lives of those less fortunate. While we have grander designs of ways to do just that we'd like to start small and focus on something immediately attainable... Salvaging the perfectly functional footwear of those that move onto their next shiny pair. How many shoes are thrown out as trash when there are entire communities of people who go barefoot through thicket and bramble? What about the children that cannot go to school because of the unforgiving distance and terrain? We're extremely excited to be here to give our dream a banner to stand behind.
