Abilene Yarn Co.
This is a brand new yarn shop opening up in a town where there are no other similar shops. I want it to be a cozy hang out spot where you can also happen to buy yarn and needlepoint supplies. I will select "retail" as the industry, but really its so much more than that. It's a place of belonging, connection. Almost like therapy or fellowship even. A place where all are welcome to come and just BE, the sacred "third space" concept that's not your home or your work, but a place where there are no tasks looming over your head, and you are free to just be YOU and create freely! Target audience is women, primarily college age and up, but really open to anyone of any gender or age. Heartstrings was the runner up name.
