A playdate is a type of unconference where educators get together to explore technology in a group setting. Unconferences are participant driven meetings for lack of a better term. The agenda is created by none other than the participants. During a playdate, participants tweet out their learning to inform other participants about the learning that is taking place in different spaces. Participants are free to move from space to space whenever the urge strikes. If the exploration takes participants down a different path, feel free to create your own breakout space with your colleagues. The idea is to follow their curiosity and passion wherever it takes them. They just have to share their findings!

Future Forwards Summits support educators to create the future of education through focused professional learning in promising new & emerging practices, research, and pedagogies. The Summits equip participants with the knowledge and expertise to envision and create the future in their schools. The four themes for the upcoming conferences include: Learning Analytics and Data Visualization, Games-Based Learning, Maker Education, and Social Entrepreneurship.

The American School of Bombay delivers a dynamic educational program that encourages each student to achieve her or his highest potential. While ASB is a U.S. style school, the Indian setting and multi-national community, representing over 40 countries, brings children who have varied experiences together to learn in a rich and unique environment. We currently serve students from pre-school to grade 12.

This is an event that is hosted every two years for educators around the world to showcase and/or learn the best practices in applying technology to eduction.
