Styled “O” Concept & Draft Details 4-8-23: Inola Blue Ridge holds an annual 70’s and 80’s rock concert. First a one day event, then two, three….. Like a Bonnaroo in TN in their 20 years. Location: Inola Blue Ridge at the Orchard Pavilion and adjoining lawns. 400 inside tent, 300 on main grounds and 750 on adjoining lawns estimated maximum if needed. Anticipated 400-600 persons for year one. 800 would be the ultimate goal. Total max, less than 1500 patrons, this would be the largest crowd at INOLA ever if we hit the max. Need a detailed logistics plan for safety and more. Naming: This is important for going forward. If it were a one off, the name would be “The Lost Weekend with The White Animals and Walrus” would be the name, as The White Animals, “TWAs” have an album named that, they want to retain rights to that name as a fee, but not unique to Inola Blue Ridge. TWAs were a band I followed with friends closely early to late 1980’s. I want a cool name that ties to Inola for branding long-term. Possible name and design for the 80’s Music Festival: 1. My Favorite is that direct and simple is better, add name, quirky, historical…: “Inola” RETRO FEST, with an annually changing stylized black fox logo, maybe a little 80’s groovy/post hippie style, tie dye and bright colors seem to be the mode for the period. (See our professional logo at top of the page, with the second on a styled musical “O”). The Fox could go out 3-D look and have it’s head turned and/or with sunglasses…. a. Black Fox Series at Inola (Inola is the Cherokee Indian Chief Inola’s English translated name). 2. These are the biggest sellers in recent Bonnaroo history. Concert: 80's band night with the featured group, 'The White Animals" from Nashville Tennessee and the warmup band, "Walrus" from Memphis Tennessee U.S. 1980s rock fest, beer, wine, food trucks, vendors and more! The event is at our world's only, gorgeous historic replica of Colonial Williamsburg Virginia, "Inola Blue Ridge", one mile from the town of Blue Ridge GA, a resort town. We hope to have 600-800 guests for this 1980's Retro-Fest reunion concert and make it a recurring festival. look up, www.inolablueridge.com. We are the real deal and are starting a concert series. Graphic needs: want a poster to put in retail store windows regionally and social media to blast the White Animals band 2.7 million followers on FB and twitter. We hope to launch the ticket sales in two weeks, the concert date is July 29, 2023, at Inola Blue Ridge, 9265 Blue Ridge GA, 30513. Gate opens at 6pm, Concert begins at 7:30pm. General Admission, Gold Package and Platinum with Valet, premium seats, buffet, beer/wine for sale, overnight accommodations, L.E.D interactive dance floor, international DJ and more. This event appeals to the 50–65-year-old crowd with college kids loving the retro style. Also, "Woodstock style" camping pass for college students with I.D. We call the event, "The Inola Lost Weekend with the White Animals and Walrus". We hope to use the images for T-Shirts too. We are recording a live album for the White Animals, "White Animals, Lost Weekend, Live at Inola Blue Ridge".
