Hello Ziggety Snipets,

My concept is playful while maintaining a sense of style, I have kept the colours from being too Feminine or masculine to appeal to all children rather than boys/girls. Some features of the design include scissor handles for 'g' in Ziggetty and the colourful comb for the 'snipets'. I have avoided using lettering that is too 'childish' so the design will appeal to parents and also the broader range of younger children to pre-teen, the lettering does still have a welcoming feel.

I hope you like this design, send through any feedback. Great business name by the way!

This is essentially the same concept as my initial submission but with the 'snipits' letters aligned rather than playfully offset from each other.

The concept is versatile enough to work boldly as a single colour design for various applications, imagine this design on stylist uniforms or hair cutting gowns for clients :)

A further evolution in the design..
Colours are now more uniform and the overall design is a playful application of the initial concept :)

Hello Ziggetty Snipits,

Thanks for doing the rankings that is great, I would like to be able to refine this concept to meet your needs and give you the best design possible. With that in mind are you able to provide some feedback as to how you would like the concept improved to get it to the winning position? Being Australian I am comfortable designing for the Australian market.

If you are not happy with the lettering style I can adjust that for you, I have been quite careful to select a letter style that is both sophisticated and trendy as per your brief and have purposely created a style that is quite different from your competitor 'Kidiz' so that you can stand ahead of them and ensure that your design will not look like you have copied them. But let me know if you don't like the feel.

The rainbow colours of the comb will appeal to all Children and they are bold and simple but let me know if they aren't aligned with your thoughts.

Thanks again, looking forward to hearing from you

Hi PixelVision,

Sorry, I haven't used Logo Tournament before and I didn't know that you'd sent comments (I only saw the comments on the main screen).

Thanks so much. I answered your last comment there.

I would like to be a stand out image, but haven't seen anything yet that makes my heart jump!

Like your work by the way :) and we like the name too!

No problem at all, I wasn't sure if the system would somehow notify you of my comments or not :)

Thanks for the reply and the response on the contest page, I can see what you are thinking and I'm sure you will get something wonderful before the contest is over. I think the monkey character that is in first place at the moment is a great step towards what you are after and it really looks great and friendly for Children too which is important.

All the best
