#13 Do you have any more variations on this idea? Hubby likes the monkey; thinks he might look a little too clean cut? I don't think so, but he's leaning that way. I think maybe a banana or two and a tree in the background might complete the image? You're the designer, what do you think?

If we were to go with a character we would need the full body version of him. Can you please include this in the .eps version of the logo.

Hi,
thanks for the feedback and ranking.
It's not a problem about the full body (I'll upload my next design with full body version so you see how it looks like).
Regarding your previous request about banana and the tree, I'm working on it and will upload it soon.
Best regards,
Bob.

Great work Bob!

Like the little dude. Feet a little weird maybe?? Sandals/thongs maybe?? Not sure... certainly draws your attention to them!

If we are to go with this logo, which I am liking btw, it will become the new core part of our franchise image. Is it possible to work with you to provide a couple of variations of the monkey, even a female version?? He's growing on me... called him Ziggetty already lol A female version called Snipits would round off the team for the salons.

Thanks and great work. Am interested to see anything you suggest or anything you think would add to it :) What do you think about some less formal attire - his presentation looks good in the formal logo, but wonder if he is a bit too 'formal looking' on his own???

Looking at the logo can we dress up the word Snipits a little bit more?? Keeping it kiddie feeling. Love the Ziggetty ! Hows it look on a coloured or dark background?

Hi,
here are some of the options for you to see-with banana, on colored and black background, stylised snipits,...
My next step is to add little Ziggetty one brand new pair of sandals, and dress him more casual (I will try to change his hair style as well to see what he can look like).
And as i already mentioned any transformation of his is possible and yes it si possible to get little Snipity as well.
Best regards,
Bob.
PS I will be away for couple of hour, so I will submit these new entries later tonight.

No worries Bob,

Can you answer my question about how the file format works when we receive it? I believe it's .eps so that means that it's in layers if I open it in Illustrator, so that if need be we can hide certain layers for use of the logo without something ie. if we want to drop of the 'salon for kids hair' text ?? As mentioned I need full version of him as well as the cropped him behind the words. Do you mind doing him in a hanging position also?? Don't mind if I'm asking too much..

Love the Snipits text much better now. Matches better. Looks good on coloured backgrounds too, so happy with that. Not sure about the 'salon for kids hair text' around the top... makes a neat design look a bit messy. Did you have another idea?

Just loving what you are doing with him.

Great work,
Kristen

PS it's 11:30pm here now so finishing for the night. Be back on in 8hrs.

Hi,
here is the option with hanging Ziggetty in a more casual style.
I tried to fit everything without looking too bussy.

Regarding your question about file format-yes it is EPS, and I can make layers to your specific request (something that would suit you the best).

I'll upload the version with ZIggetty standing in his new sandals in a short period (just need to fit everything).
Best regards,
Bob

Hi Bob!

I think I've found my Ziggetty :) Thank you.

There is another american kids salon chain called www.snipits.com these guys have a host of characters that kids just are drawn to. This is where we want to go with Ziggetty - a cast of friends. Your designs have wet our appetite and we are confident that an accurate image can come from these that will brand the salon franchise here in Australia. Would you be able to design the rest of these characters for us after this tournament?

Pop a banana in his hand whilst he's hanging? and the more casual standing character is definitely good as we are based on the Gold Coast which is a beach strip city. Can you rough up his hair a little in this one to match the hanging Ziggetty?

We are at the place of wanting to go with this design, but our concern is now that we can only have one image. Is there a way that we can get this group of images? The formal logo, the hanging logo, the 2 standing characters, to begin with? Layers for each item so that if we need to remove an item from a logo ie. need to change the dryer in his hand to a love heart for valentines day (or whatever!) we can.

Thanks Bob, You're worth your ranking and have been very easy to work with :)

Hi,
not a problem about later agreement. We can work everything out for the snipits.
Regarding his multiple positions and style variations again, no problem, I can send them all to you private mail, once the contest is over and before you approve final files.
Also, as I said before-everything is going to be in layers (please just specify what do you plan to remove/rotate so I can put in on separate layer).
If you have any other suggestions, just let me know.
I'm glad you got attached to Ziggy, as I love the little guy :)
Best regards,
Bob.

Hi Bob,

Good news.

We weren't sure how this would work so we extended the time before we heard back from you. When it's finished we will do as you propose.

Can you do something about his hand whilst he's hanging? That's all I see when I look at him in that position!

The more casual standing character is definitely good as we are based on the Gold Coast which is a beach strip city. Can you rough up his hair a little in this one to match the hanging Ziggetty?

'The Salon for Kids Hair' font is ok in the hanging ziggetty logo, but a little plain? Do you have a substitute font that screams 'kids'? On the formal Ziggetty logo the font around the top is ok, but do you have another idea??

Thanks Bob, & look forward to working with you again - it's been very easy.

Hi Kristen,
no problem about these changes.
I will submit new entries later today (just to let you know so you don't think I didn't read your comment).
...and one clarification-I suppose that you refer to an empty hand (in hanging position). Other than that everything is clear.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Bob.

Yes, the empty hand.

Thanks Bob,

`Font more kiddish.
I would like to hear your opinion, or any other proposal if you may have.

Like it Bob. The roughed up hair on the standing Ziggetty keeps him kiddy looking.

Love the thumbs up for the hanging character, and holding the hairdryer is a nice touch. I also like the yellow stripe on his shorts (boardshorts are very relevant here).

The formal logo, in spot #1 - does he have a goaty?? Can that come off please to keep him a younger character? Also, the font across the top 'the salon for kids hair' looks a little elongated.

I think after that everything is just perfect :)

Your question about layers - I would like each element to be able to be removed/altered etc. If I want to have the yellow circle dropped off or the equipment moved etc. then I'd like to have that ability. Maximum ability to use the design would be appreciated - I am sure you know how to help us with that better than me asking for anything.

Appreciate you continued help... think we're there!

Hi Kristen,
here is the option without goatty, plus I changed the position of slogan, so it is fitted into the logo, without making it look too complex.
Please let me know if you like this one better.
I'll try out few options with slogan around logo, to see if I can incorporate it more. If I find better composition, I'll upload it.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Bob.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for reworking the wording.
We have a split decision between my husband and I now!
I prefer the new version with the text below the monkey, and he prefers the text around the top, but does agree that it is a little elongated. Both do agree though that Ziggetty looks better without the goatty.
With this latest design with the tag line incorporated, the 'snipits' seems to have moved position. We prefer it 'under' the Ziggetty in layering, not above. The yellow circle he also doesn't like with the gradient :(
With the eps layering, can you please make sure that if I need to have a very formal logo, I can hide the bananas too.
You've won the competition for sure, and we definitely want to go with this design... but I just can't pick which one to put in first position!!! Hanging logo, character, formal logo... or which version of each of these designs! I could put any one of them there; we love every one of your designs!!
Dilemmas!!
Thanks so much.
Do you need my email address to send these to and to arrange the 'Snipits' girl character? It's jackerbell@gmail.com
Thanks again,
Kristen

Hi Kirsten,
great news.
Not a problem for any of these changes. I can submit them while the contest is in judging mode (I will be back in my office later today, and then I will do all these changes).
As I already said, anything is possible for rearranging, changing etc., both in layers and in separate designs.
I would just need a list of all the things you would like to be movable, so i don't forget something.
And not a problem if you can not change your mind, because I will send you all the variations, so you can use them when appropriate.
Thanks for your patience.
Best regards, Bob.

Here is the version with slogan around the top, changed so it doesn't look so elongated.
I hope this is better now, if not, I can change it some more.

Thanks Bob,
It has been a pleasure working with you :)
Look forward to getting the artworks... Just make the eps's as editable as possible... we'd appreciate that.
