Interesting challenge.

What a fantastic response and thank you all. To those who got the not interested stamp, i feel thats a little harsh, but its probably best i let you all know what dosent quite work for me. Sorry to say but silhouettes of houses with chimneys, let just say i say i see a lot of my competition driving around with those locally, and i would like to present something a little more abstract, hence my ranking of the roof truss, which wasnt immediately apparent. Entry #4 looks very sophisticated and i like that but the city skyline might imply im a huge developer, which im not! Not a fan of serif fonts at all but # 5 was a good effort. Entry #1 just looks quite professional, but im a little unsure why i like it !! But so far #8 and #9 are the most exciting in terms of where they might end up....as far as implying the design through to completion idea...quite cool. I'm a little nervous now cause if this kind of quality keeps up then i am going to have to become quite harsh to great designs from a bunch of clever people, not fair! Thanks again

I have extended our contest only because i have been overwhelmed by the response and i have not had the opportunity to post enough feedback for you all and so many different ideas have inspired me to think in some cases a little differently. I suppose i am also waiting for one to jump out and say Im the one. The extension will allow me the weekend as well to really review all the entries. As a rule i am liking some of the more abstract and the use of lower case. The name is slightly tricky so readability is a key. The use of shadows always tend to reinforce that we do work in a 3 dimensional space and the more refined entrys tend to reinforce our design and quality ethic. I will endeavour to be more specific and update rankings as soon as i can. Again thank you all and cheers!

I have reluctantly had to post a lot of great entries to the not interested column, believe me that is not a lot of fun, as a great deal of them were fantastic in themselves, its just that as the competition progress, some designs serve to clarify what im after. So to those, thank you for your great efforts thus far, it is much appreciated.

I am now narrowing both the field and the brief a little and i hope it helps those still in or those who maybe still working on something. I am liking the abstract like symbol above the name, and the Z is proving quite powerful and emotive for some reason, (last letter perhaps, not sure). I like when the the name has some space around it and again i think lower case works better for me, however i like some of the upper case. I am also tending to think the black and one or two strong colours is enough. The more refined and simplistic each new entry becomes, the more closer we get. I am particularly fond of #71, #72 and #73 as the hexagon is classic and very design like, the Z is there and it even suggests a structure. It simply is my current favourite i suppose. I have posted some comments at Gintas page on how i thought it might be improved. Again what an amazing response and thank you. I hope to post some more comments later.
